This company was appointed by my Car Insurance company to recover funds from a 3rd party. Whilst they do appear to have recovered funds relatively quickly, I note that all correspondence is sent as a "Word" document in email attachments - why go to the effort of creating a document when you send it as insecurely as that - it would be much more advisable to create a secure PDF that would be harder to tamper with. If you're not going to send correspondence via a secured document, then just send it as the body of the email itself so that it is easier to read. They are also incredibly slow at making payments - I received a letter advising that they were closing my case following receipt of my bank details - several days later I am still waiting for the funds to be in my bank account - most other companies I have dealt with, if they say payment made, then it is received within a couple of hours - not several days later. I would have received the funds faster if they had written a cheque and posted it to me! Updated to add that I received a phone call from my Insurance company to advise that my claim had been settled and could they confirm bank details to settle the payment. They seemed quite confused when I advised that their solicitors had already paid me as they had also received the funds. I would therefore be concerned about Mansfield Solicitors ability to correctly account for Client Monies.
Zero stars if possible! Awful from start to finish! Communication is absolutely dire, I was never informed when the person handling my case left the company, instead I had to chase for a response after 3 months. These solicitors made an extremely stressful time even worse. On multiple occasions I had to chase for a response to my emails! The lawyer who represented me in court completely fumbled the case, withdrawing his own statements on multiple occasions and completely forgetting the hour and a half long conversation we had prior to the hearing, making up his own version of events! It has taken 16 months to settle my case. If you ever have the misfortune of being represented by this company then you may as well lose all hope.
A update . Change from 1 to 5 please read why. Just had a phone call from Mrs Clare Mansfield. A lesson for all companies, a phone call is much more beneficial than emails etc. She has certainly made me feel a lot better about the situation. She has restored confidence in her company. She came across as genuine. Some of her staff should follow her example. I therefore am changing my review from 1 to 5. Let's hope I don't regret it. I won't write at the moment anything ,because there are legal proceedings in place,and I don't want too jeopardise them. However giving a company a 1 star, wish it was a minus number, shows that something is seriously wrong. I have no doubt that a good 5 star review will now pop up on their reviews. Of course it won't be a coincidence
My case took almost a year to resolve. Even with the time passed i did not end up getting the treatment for physiotherapy i required and was forced to accept a settlement. The person that was dealing with my case he had made a lot of excuses even mentioned to me on an email "I have more important clients to deal with such as court hearings" I have never come across such a rude and unprofessional company in my life. I would avoid at all cost. I still require treatment for my physiotherapy which I need to pay from my own pocket. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Although we had a bad experience with our landlord we were over the moon to find these solicitors were there to provide us there expertise and support in our claim against our ex landlord and our insurance claim . We are so thankful to Anna and there team of solicitors and barresters. I highly recommend this company to any one in any landlord dispute and insurance claims
I was feeling like Bobbie Cook. I had very bad experience- - unprofessional, understanding and silly behaviour. I had personal injury claim . Medical examinations directed me to physiotherapist and I had to pay for second medical examination because first was better ( the first did not directed me to physio if it not true than Mansfield Solicitors ignore this ). I lost many mental health with discuss with they. My feeling was than they want quick finish case to fast income. Mentally and physically I filling better after finish cooperation . Mansfields are currently dealing with a road traffic dispute for me. They do not return emails (3 in the last 5-6 weeks) nor do they answer the phone or return calls. I am very disappointed and frustrated with the delays in dealing with my case. Sadly, they were the instruction of my Insurance company. I wouldn't use them again. If someone happens to see this at Mansfields..... Call me !
