We used Esher Station Cars yesterday and this morning and would highly recommend. Drivers were polite, helpful and on time, cars were immaculate and prices were way better than any other companies we tried.

Terrible - avoid when travelling with kids! We booked a taxi to go to Heathrow airport. A few weeks before our trip we called and specifically requested a car seat for a five month old (rear-facing baby car seat). A few days before our trip we called again to confirm they would bring a rear facing car seat, and they assured us that was no problem. The day of our trip the taxi showed up without the right car seat and instead they brought a forward facing car seat for a toddler which we couldn't use. As it was 5am and 'the office was closed', the driver couldn't go get the right car seat or do anything for us. We paid full price for a service that we didn't get... We only booked with them because they said they had the right car seat for our baby. Otherwise we could have booked an Uber and bring our own car seat! After the incident, I contacted them several times, and I even spoke with the manager who promised he would investigate the issue and get back to me. I'm still waiting to hear back. Unacceptable service, especially when you have to get to the airport early in the morning, and absolutely terrible customer service!! UPDATE: Regarding your reply, ("It feels unfair to receive such a harsh review after our conversation, especially when we did try to address your concerns"), I think what's unfair is to pay for a service we didn't receive, and that you as a business, after not delivering the service we booked, did nothing to address our concerns. I had the most amazing service and care yesterday. After a long and tedious flight delay at LHR T5, our flight was cancelled and we then ended up waiting 2.5 hours for our bags to be returned. Most drivers would have left, but not our driver who was very kind and patient throughout. Thank you for looking after us so well. We are extremely grateful.
We had such a good experience with this company. Each time they sent a text to confirm the details, the driver was so polite and it was excellent value. Highly recommended.
So sad to write this : I have used this company for 13 years and always found them to be professional and with lovely drivers . However the last two important bookings that I had , one 6:30am pick up for an important meeting and an airport job the cars failed to turn up . There was no communication from the office to allow me to make alternative arrangements, just a litany of excuses . I will never use them again for an important job as they are totally unreliable .
Have used Esher Station cars for a while and never had an issue - however the last experience with them has ruined it. We ordered a taxi from Surbiton to London Gatwick at 4.00am, and ordered a saloon and were quoted £56. The driver arrived 25 minutes late, in a beaten-up prius that made grinding noises for the entire journey, made no apologies for his lateness then charged us £75 for the trip despite there being no traffic at all on the roads and no discount for almost making us late for our check-in. Given we had used them for a while I emailed giving them a chance to set things right without a review, and they havent even responded. Appalling.
We have used them often and we're due to get picked up in London today after a long day travelling. Booked this on 15 August and today is 26 August and they have just cancelled 2 hrs away from pick up. They asked how much they had quoted as if they couldn't be bothered to honour the quote. We'll never use them again and will also tell our friends why...
Rip off wanted to charge me £25 from esher to hampton. I thought it a lot but didnt want to use uber , wanted to use local.so i agreed. then they called me back and said it would be £30 . I said cancel it uber picked me up 5 mins later and charged me £18 . I will never use them again and wil tell everyone i know about it.
Booked for a school drop off at 8.30 days in advanced. Called at 8.30 and was told that the driver is stuck and is running 15-20 min late. Had I not called I would not have gotten an update. Called an Uber and it is 9 min away. Don’t waste your time Pre booking this taxi services if you need to be anywhere on time.
