   Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. The worst company I have ever dealt with. After having massive issues with the perth branch lying about what finance with could offer me. Then promising they would get a car from the Hamilton Road branch I saw only to be told they couldn't. I then had to drive to Glasgow to purchase the car I wanted. I would avoid this dealership and Arnold clark like the plague. Having part exchanged my car and purchasing a new one, they did not settle my old finance and this caused a payment to be "missed" which left a big black mark on my perfect credit rating. After spending hours calling and emailing so many unhelpful people to try and get this sorted, the payment was finally settled but this did not solve my credit rating issue. I made a formal complaint and was simply pawned off and told to take it to the ombudsman. Arnold Clark simply do not care about their customers. Through no fault of my own I had to chase up and correct my credit rating and was offered absolutely nothing from Arnold Clark. EDIT The social media team advised customer service would be in contact, still waiting. Only fueling my opinion that the customer service is absolutely abysmal.

   Worst customer service, in branch and additionally over the phone . People skills are on point when it comes down to a sale , Happy to sell a car that wasn’t perfect , and advise that the problem will go away as it’s had new parts . Looks like common practice going by the reviews Call centre staff are very argumentative. EDIT ( 14/10/25 )After calling the number as advised below from the Social Media crew . I was advised it was being addressed and I would be contacted within 3-5 working days .. Still no response !!!! As stated above. Worst customer service going .

   I had such a great experience! Stephen was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process of getting my car. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made everything feel easy and stress-free. David also did an amazing job helping me with all the paperwork—he explained everything clearly and made sure I understood each step. Together, they made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

   Had such a great experience buying my new car here. After having been in accident I was nervous about looking for a new car, however I was lucky enough to have Ronnie as my salesman who put my mind at ease. Ronnie was knowledgeable, patient and kind. He answered all my questions and I felt no pressure whatsoever. He talked me through my options and helped me find the best possible car, with the best deal, that fit my specifications and budget. The whole process was easy and smooth. Many thanks also to Lewis who went over the final paperwork for me and gave me my keys. He was very approachable and professional. Thankfully he spotted an error I had made in the paperwork and swiftly rectified this so as to not cause me any issues down the line. The girls on reception were also lovely and made me two wonderful coffees. If you are looking to buy a car I would highly recommend speaking to the team here as they have all went above and beyond to ensure the experience was as positive as possible. Thank you all very much.

   We had an excellent experience at Arnold Clark Hamilton Road due to the outstanding customer service from Adam Laurie. We originally went to browse for a new car in December 2022 and Adam was very helpful without being the usual pushy salesman. We accidentally came to this branch as it is not local to us but due to Adam's patience and welcoming demeanor, we returned later into the new when we were ready to purchase our new car. On our return we requested Adam to conclude the sale and we'd like to thank him for providing such a positive experience. If you're looking for an honest, experienced, and helpful salesman, we'd definitely recommend dealing with Adam.

   Picked my new car up from Jim Mcauley yesterday. Part exchanged my old car and the deal couldn't have gone any smoother. Didn't even feel real that it was all done it was that easy. Had a great chat with Jim and he really knows his stuff. Couldn't recommend him enough.
