Be warned about gift cards. I bought a £30 card so that my sister could choose her own foundation but opted for one with makeup on the front, rather than a Christmas tree. What a disappointment we got when she was not allowed to purchase anything other than No. 7 To be fair, the card did have a No 7 product on the front, but it was not clear that only that could be selected and I had actually mentioned to the assistant that she likes to choose her own Estee Lauder. The only thing that was made clear was that she could use it for 24 months. She doesn't use No 7 make up, so the gift card is useless and we are out of pocket.

Never a busy store. Always plenty of staff and stocked shelves. Discounts on a wide range of aftershaves, perfumes etc. Only thing is some days there is a wait on prescriptions but still quicker most local chemists.

Customer service terrible, waiting in the queue to get to the till to be served and being told by customers I'll be ignored and have to wait till I get to collection for prescriptions. An employee see this conversation and randomly shouts queue is for everything. Most times in this chemist someone always seems to feel let down. I had to leave as nobody would attempt to serve. As soon as there is more than 5 or so customers in this massive chemist theres a panic! Unacceptable, shouldn't be getting ignored especially with the multitude of employees in this chemists.

Sometimes the service is fabulous but others it seems like they can't cope with the amount of customers they have

Just visited Boots to collect a prescription which was one item. I was told it would take 30 minutes, and I said I would wait. My opinion is that 30 minutes is at the end of the "waiting scale" however I did say that I would wait. I waited about 45 minutes eventually but what really annoyed me was that two obvious drug abusers walk in, or in his case, staggers in then falls asleep while reaching inside his shopping bag, and her, well I better keep her description to myself. Anyway how is it that I have to wait 45 minutes for my prescription but she can bypass the queue, walk straight up to the counter, speak to a member of staff who then directs her directly to the consulting room and she gets dealt with straight away, no waiting, no queueing, no trouble at all. In and out in a flash and I am still waiting. I would be really interested to receive a response from Boots as to how this is justified. On a plus side the staff are pleasant but that really annoys me, and it's not the first time it has happened.

Excellent quick service during these times of Covid-19. Every time I have been to collect a prescription they seem to be very busy but manage to keep the waiting time to a minimum. I sure the pharmacy is working overtime to achieve this. Keep up the good work!
