   What a pleasure to discuss the finer details of riven oak battens with Joe. He was generous both with his time and expertise. Our delivery arrived a little earlier than expected which was perfect and allowed us to put up all the battens before the thatchers arrived. The quality was first class, dimensions also very consistent despite being riven not sawn. Exactly what we had hoped for to provide a good base for the thatchers to work from. It’s rare to find such a good product and exemplary service too. Many thanks.

   We ordered 96m2 of Thermowood Ayous cladding from Coyle Timber. Having had samples from various other suppliers we felt Coyle Timber offered good quality at a reasonable price. Being only an hour away we were able to visit the yard to see the wood and speak to Nick who was very helpful. Good communication with Joe throughout the ordering process and the order was processed and delivered to us within a week when we needed it quickly!

   I can certainly recommend Coyle Timber for red cedar cladding! Everything from enquiry through to the quote to picking up the cladding went smoothly. I purchased a quantity of 90 x 2.4m machined cladding strips and not one was unusable - and it was less expensive than a similar product from B&Q. (I even managed to get some pine off-cuts from their scrap pile for the backing strips free of charge). Good to use local tradesmen - thanks for a great high quality product!
