   Friendly staff, very informative and can buy by the meter which is super helpful. Parking is abit sparce and is a small yard but as stated, staff are friendly and helped me as a noob buying timber sort it out. I was even able to cut the wood to size as needed with a saw provided for customers to use and was able to take the exact lengths of timber I needed in my small car which I never would of been able to do unless they had the saw and measurer readily available for people to use.

   FIRE/BURGLAR alarm going off since around 3am in the middle of the night. Causing head-splitting migraine symptoms. Alarm now blasting through the neighbourhood for 12 HOURS STRAIGHT. The manager of this branch is not responding to the alarm. This is a FREQUENT occurrence. Management has been made aware of it by my landlord. Happens every couple of weeks. NOONE HAS EVER RESPONDED TO THESE ALARMS. Industry standard for alarms like this is an automatic cut off after 20mins. And law. This would be an easy fix if not planning on responding to it anyway. Have contacted the police and handed in noise complaint with the council. The neighbourhood enforcement team has been contacted. Which I assume on a Sunday isn’t going to amount to anything. So this alarm will sound for ANOTHER 15 HOURS, and I will have to rent a hotel room for the night, have lost money as I was unable to work today/tom, and will have to battle a migraine that can last up to 48hrs. Currently unable to enter my premises or go anywhere near as can be heard from km-radius. Do I need to get the 250 surrounding tenants to complain as well before this matter is being taken seriously. No contact information on the gates. Which alarm company do you use? Who is responsible?

   Went into the store and asked for some advice as a novice on how to cement a crack that had appeared in an outside step at home. The guy who helped me was great,he offered the most cost effective solution and even found some guides on how to do the work. As a woman going into these places before I have felt a bit patronised but on this occasion that wasn’t the case. I wish I had taken the guys name. Very helpful,great customer service. Thank you

   General attitude of one member of staff in the yard was grumpy to say the least when I went there today. One word answers. Unhelpful and couldn’t be bothered. Then asked me to move my car quickly because it was near a walkway even though I wasn’t obstructing anything or anybody. There is a reason why Travis Perkins struggle in business - their attitude to customers is poor overall.

   Having been using Travis for numerous years now, recently has been made even better, Laurence at the Clifton branch has become my point of contact, very efficient at organising the delivery of materials to site, great advice, and reduced my workload by trying to find which branch has what in stock, keep up the great work Laurence.

   Service at Clifton is always professional and efficient. Lawrence & Tom are always on hand with their knowledge and friendly demeanour and the yard staff are really helpful.
