   I stayed here in May 2023 for 4 Day I also stayed here for 4 days last October 2022 which was a much better experience The organisers of the seminar did a great job as always I understand that the accommodation is basic hostel style, shared accommodation mostly 3 to a room with small single beds and extra small bathrooms My stay this time was spoil due to the appalling standard of food No choices, extremely small portion and tasteless food breakfast was okay Dinner was half a bowl of soup and a side plate of salad no protein or cheeses involved with it just Salad cream Evening meal one choice no desserts No starters tasteless And stodgy People where hungry it was so surreal I felt I was in some Adult offenders prison and I was doing my time for some crime I didn’t commit In all honesty it was truly a poor show 50+ paying adult It was so bad I would not even return if it was offered to me free its such a beautiful building but whoever is managing the property will run it into the ground for sure very quickly

   Carronvale House is an excellent facility in beautiful grounds. The facilities are modern and the functions rooms are set up with conference facilities for groups from half a dozen to about 80! The location is great within walking distance of the train and with ample parking, it's less than ten minutes from the motorway. Rooms are basic but functional, bathrooms are clean and the food is perfectly adequate, although if you get the steak pie it's outstanding! Carronvale is perfect for church groups, alpha holy spirit away days, small/medium businesses and many other events and meetings. I can throughly recommend it, it's a gem.
