   I ordered a hire mixer online, to be picked up at portishead. I phoned today only to be told we don't do tool hire here. I said I bookedit online to be delivered here. The woman I spoke to said "it ain't ere". I said can you check to see when it will be. She said "gi I ten minnes n I call u back" 4 hours later no call. Disgracefull service.

   Staff were great. I only wanted a £10 plank of wood for a project but they help me cut so it fit into the car. I’m sorrry I can’t remember the young lady and the gentlemen’s name but I was shocked by how friendly they were.

   Went here for the first time in years. Was able to get the wood I needed for the renovation job I am currently doing in my house. Was able to park in their yard. Wood was cut to size and carried to my car and loaded for me. Was very happy with the service.

   Reserved decking boards online drove 30 minutes when I get there out of stock! Apparently sold the day before but no one updated the system. Wasted an hour when I could of gone elsewhere. Hard to access as well

   Worst retail experience in the UK. Staff serve you when they feel like it, no one answers the phone and god help you if you need anything from the yard, no one knows what's going on. Appalling business, would rather spend double on everything at homebase.

   Been let down by this company and this branch too many times now. Not delivering items when promised and charging excessive amounts on items not collected. Would not recommend and would suggest people use local builders yards where possible.
