Food is always delicious and well priced. Set menu is a great deal if your looking for 2/3 courses. Staff are friendly and polite, always happy to help you with your order. The restaurant itself is looking a little bit tired but pleasant enough.
Room was clean and tidy but the wall mounted heater didn't work. There was a portable heater provided but it had a broken stand and was prone to falling over. Car parking was limited and while there's pay parking across the road this is not ideal if you’re planning to stay during the week. There's an additional £10 room key deposit which wasn't mentioned in the booking. If you have to check out early, you won't get this back so you should factor this into the cost of your stay.
I had the great pleasure of booking function suit with buffet for my sisters hen do and it was the best night ! Staff are legendary helped with the set up and just so friendly and helpful and definitely made the night great.hall is beautiful.Food was great. Great prices for drink for any further party's I will definitely be booking again.
I came to eat, not to stay, and I appreciate that it's dog-friendly. However, one major drawback is the limited vegetarian and vegan options. It would be fantastic if there were more choices, as it would encourage me to visit more often.
10 of us went there for my wife's birthday. The staff could not have been any more helpful. The food was served hot and very tasty. The drinks were served within a few minutes of ordering. WE will be going back and would seriously recommend this place for a meal or a group.
It was amazing the food and the service. My son ate for free because he is two and definitely go back.
We went in for a meal last night not realising there was a match at rugby park. With it being a week night, it was busy enough to have a good atmosphere but not too busy. Lovely staff and good food (especially the salted caramel cheesecake). Would go again x
Just got the chicken and black pudding stack delivered, food was hot and it was very tasty and quite a generous portion. Would defo recommend this place. Will go and sit it soon. Well impressed.
I was here today with my daughter, mum and mother in law, lovely food resonable priced and lovely play area. cathie the lady who done amazing on her own taking orders and doing the drinks was lovely and done well as it was very busy!! Also 2 other ladies one called Julie and lady with blonde hair who drove past on her day off came in to help done a great job!! The 3 ladies didnt stop at all and were very attentive during our time here. The ladies defo went the extra mile today. The only thing letting it down was the waiting in between. I would like to come back and try it again
Jimmy and Julie were the Best Hosts. Made us feel very welcome. A very warm and friendly couple who could not do enough for you. The food from the Restaurant was Excellent as was the Beer. We will be back for the next Northern Soul Night. Thanks again. Stevie, Kate and Sandra.
