We go in here to buy local essentials most weeks and are always met with friendliness from the folk behind the till. They also host a charity notice board which is great for local events etc!
Excellent choice of fresh and storecupboard items for a town this size, and the place has a genuine natural, hippy feel. However the customer service isn't great. They never answer the phone and when I tried to reserve one item over the phone and later another in person, both times I was told it would be reserved only to turn up and find it hadn't been.
A really excellent shop, with a fantastic range of organic, eco-friendly ethically sourced products and refill stations - all fairly priced. Lots of local suppliers and a really nice community shop. Christine has been really helpful ordering in washing powder for me so I could find one that was allergy-friendly. She really knows her stuff and can answer questions on provenance and packaging. Just the kind of thriving shop we need in Bradford.
Christine's Sustainable Supermarket is a real gem. Lots of refillable items. Great eggs. Super tasty sourdough bread. Chocolate is soooo good. It's a little shop but contains so much. Advice given whenever needed and I love the newsletter. Huge thanks Christine and team for serving our community so brilliantly.
This is a fabulous place to shop and the staff are extremely helpful. On my first visit to Christine's sustainable supermarket the owner of the shop (Christine) took her time to help talk me through the products. She was extremely helpful. I have been back every week since and the shop and products just get better. I absolutely love what this shop stands for. I think the shop and staff are an absolute credit to Bradford on Avon. I now do my weekly shop here. On occasions the staff have also managed to source a particular product for me that I wanted to try. I really can’t recommend Christine’s Sustainable supermarket enough.
I LOVE this shop! It’s not only an amazing benefit to the town and it’s customers but to the planet, people working in less developed countries and to animals. The sustainable produce is great and it’s lovely to see it’s so busy. Even when it’s chock a block full of people the staff always seem to make time for each and every customer with kindness and care. They’ve never let me down and my friends rave about them. I shop there regularly and can’t get enough! Highly recommended :)
I LOVE IT! This is the place where I do my weekly shopping. Huge range of organic sustainable food available From the organic breakfast cereals, trough refillable chemicals and different kind of seeds, beans, pasta sauces, cocoa and exotic stuff, fair trade chocolate, nice range of tea and coffee, ready made samosa and quiche, organic fruit ad veg to the local free range meats dairy products, recycled wipes and toilet paper... and a lot more.. The staffs and the owner are really kind and helpful.. and knowledgeable about the products. If you want to be kind to yourself or you want to be kind to the planet, give this shop a try. PS: leave some samosa for me on Sunday :)
