   Went to M&S this evening and dropped a pot of yoghurt on the floor which exploded everywhere. Staff member Ned and team were absolute stars, going above and beyond, clearing up the mess quickly and bringing me wet wipes for my yoghurt stained trousers. They cheered me up with jokes, presented me with flowers & turned a disaster into the highlight of my day!

   I usually shop at the M&S store on Stall Street for its excellent range of organic produce. I recently visited the Weston Lock branch for convenience, but was disappointed by the very limited choice of organic fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. I also had a slightly uncomfortable experience using Scan & Shop, as I felt I was being watched by one of the staff members. Out of courtesy, I showed my receipt and bag on my way out, though I hadn’t been asked to. I don’t believe this should have been necessary, but it did leave me feeling uneasy. The Click & Collect service is certainly helpful, but unfortunately, the lack of product choice and uncomfortable atmosphere outweighed the convenience for me. I won’t be returning to this branch.
