Too busy at 6:30pm. But shelves full and most usual sortiment available. Waiting at the till about 5 min.
I couldn't figure why I'd give 5 stars to a supermarket, but then I tried to rationalise not giving it 5 and couldn't think of a reason to knock a star off.
Lovely little shop but watch out for the zebra crossing outside. The store have chosen to put shelves of plants directly next to the crossing which makes it really hard to see cars coming/pedestrians approaching. Mentioned it to the security guard but he didn't seem to care at all.
Nice size with plenty of stock. It has self service checkouts. There are two fast car chargers in the car park
Lidl has good stocks, freshly baked items only in the morning/ early afternoon. People who go to office and go for evening shopping don't get hands on desired conditions of items. Should look into this. Slogan says always high on quality and low on price. But here scene is only for morning.
Do my weekly shop here. Its the only one that is accessible to me currently (walking distance) the prices are great as with any lidl. But the stock seems to be very low in certain areas at all times. One week there will be no bread. The next will be no cereal and the next is something else! For over a month at one point it has almost no frozen food yet other lidls and stores locally did... Self checkouts always temperamental in comparison to other branded stores, never seem to do a whole shop there on self checkout without it calling for help over soemthing I can't control. Staff really friendly and hard working though! And seems to be fairly clean when I go!
Good food at good prices. Best local supermarket for Charlton Hayes by far. Great for bakery, and fresh fruit and veg. Always worth a cheeky gander down the "middle of lidl" aisle for something you never knew you needed but suddenly can't do without! Easy walking distance from the entire estate, wide pavements and safe crossing on Hayes way mean it's easy to leave the car at home for top-up grocery shopping! (PS - Don't forget to take your trolley back!)
Nice, clean, lots of parking space, disabled bays next to entrance. Easy to do shopping.
