No staff? No problem! It's a completely self-serve Tesco! This is the worst supermarket I've ever been to in my life.
Rude staff! I was there few days ago to get only few things, I went on the counter to pay, as I wanted to pay cash but I wasn’t sure if my cash/change is enough, so I asked if I could pay cash/change, SHE said only if you could your change! It was only £5 something and I have £2 coin, the rest is pound coins, I could not believe how she said it as if I was going to use pennies! The way she was looking at me, I was disbelief! Went to Vegetables store in Clifton Village told one of the staffs, as I went to buy my vegetables, she said she had experience the same, whereby the staff was rude!!!
Perfect store with various options and very friendly staff.
Basically got screamed at by a blonde member of staff last night whilst I struggled on the self check out “UGH BAGGING AREA IS ON THE TOP” as if this was really obvious and I had really annoyed her because I didn’t know?
Not great management in this shop. 95% of the time there's only one cashier who has to serve as well as deal with issues on the self service till. There's usually a few people around stocking shelves so it's not like they're short staffed. I feel for the ones who have to deal with it. Usually youngsters. Tescos policy of opening more tills when there's more than 2 people waiting (store policy when i worked for them) has obviously gone out of the window.
I didn't found my cabbage but shop is still good
This Tesco has most of the things you'll need. You might have to go to a larger shop for the more niche items, but generally it does the job just as well as any other shop.
Orrible staff! The indian lady kicked me out with the dog and i pointed that no signes are present at the front doors as all shops provides if "Dogs not allowed", few days before the manager let me get in as for him was fine. Thats not a food preparation but a grocery shop and if you don't allow dogs put a sign as everyone!
This is a good Tesco Express with most of the basics you need. A few basic fruits/vegetables are missing like cooking tomatoes and white onions. Staff are friendly, though there is a lack of tills as there are always substantial queues.
Staff are fantastic! Stock is classic Tesco express. Seems slightly pricey these days, more like a corner-shop or a garage than a supermarket. Costa coffee machine is available - Boston Tea Party is just across the road and infinitely better coffee! Fresh bakery section.
