Slowest shop ever, 1 person working the tills with 12 customers waiting. Older lady struggling to use the till software making it even slower

I don’t understand why this place has such a low rating. The store has everything a good local shop should offer — and more. It’s clean, well-organised, and the staff are absolutely lovely! And just a few steps away, you get a stunning view of the longest bridge in the UK — because you’re right on Severn Beach! A great little shop in a truly unique location.

2 months ago I went in to pick up a parcel and was met with rude and arrogant member of staff. I brushed this off thinking this was maybe a one off. Well my wife went in today to drop a parcel off, she was treated unprofessionally with a rude member of staff. Clearly they need to learn some customer service skills.

I went in up to a couple of weeks ago to find out if they knew a local like myself as I had a parcel delivered to me for someone else. The woman in store with a walking boot just said "sorry I've got to serve" and the other woman in there who i believe is management just liked and be smiled at me. Not being able to find the resident in question I took the parcel back a few days ago after I wrote on it not at this address. The same members of staff were working. The girl who originally had the walking boot looked at me and didn't move as they stood around chatting to the left of the door despite walking towards the till with the parcel. The management girl never even acknowledged me. Staff are very rude and wouldn't know what customer service was if it smacked them in the face. I've not used the post office in months since they refused me my parcel as a McColls outlet. The service has got very bad since the switch over to Morrisons daily. Despite being local it's not somewhere I want to shop.

it was 6 o'clock and my child ran out of milk and groceries and the store was closed, the manager should face the consequences and be replaced by a responsible person

Pretty good selection of products. Yet the store frequently closes before 10pm unlike what it says outside the store and on Google (earlier I went at 9:30 and this was the 3rd time this has happened). Please respect the usual closing time as I have looked forward to getting some alcohol after a physically tiring shift at Severn Beach Royal Mail finishing at 9pm. Thanks.

Not only do they close early and inconsistently, the young women that close pretend they don't notice you there. Several times I've gone down at 9:30 (they're not supposed to close until 10:00) and every time the girls are in there chatting and laughing away but the door is locked and partially open. I've spoken to them through the partially open door, told them I only needed one item but they just shake their head no. I reminded them that they're supposed to be open for another 30 minutes, but then they just walked away into the back. (!?) They won't turn the temperature of the refrigerators down so you can actually have a cold drink. And there's often a line as they are always so slow when checking your items. They are regularly out of typical items so you can't count on them.
