   Same empty shelves as Morrisons. same price hiked nonsense No reason to go here over other supermarkets anymore. --- Update they now don't even sell frozen mince anymore and the entire fresh meat section is near empty. Also started packaging beef in the colours conventionally used by other meats, super misleading..... Oh and they literally don't sell lamb mince!? Don't bother with this shop

   Generally i would give Lidl 4-5 stars, but having visited today and found that they have gotten rid of the small carry baskets is both divisive and an unnecessary inconvenience to its loyal shoppers. If i need to do a big shop, i get a cart, but if i am just popping in to get a hand full of things, then a carry basket is the most convenient! Lidl obviously is putting greed over shopping experience and shoppers convenience. Quick followup: Lidl, you are shooting your selves in the foot and making life more difficult than it could be! People who use the self check-out system, generally are popping in to only get a few things. The self check-out system are specifically DESIGNED for carry baskets!! I have seen so many people choosing to walk around with a bunch of items in their arms, as the trolly baskets are not only bulky and get in the way, but also super low to the ground, making these new baskets for customers who are elderly, with mobility issues, or can only buy as much as they can carry more difficult. Just bring back the option for carry baskets!!! You will still make money, either way, but be more considerate of the diverse needs of your customers!
