I went in the co op with a friend who was buying just a bottle of water, while we were in there we were browsing through the shop and one of the workers walked past us 4 times giving us dirty looks then as we are walking out after my friend paid for his water she says to her co worker “did he steal anything” which my friend replied with “I just brought a water” then as we are leaving the shop she says “what’s in your pockets” aimed at my friend who is a black male which I found extremely racially motivated as I was with him the whole time and she didn’t accuse me of anything as a white man. This was devastating to me as we both have been going to the shop regularly for 3 years now and the worker has seen us in the shop many times.

Racial discrimination from one of the employees was browsing with my friend as she kept pacing down the isle behind us while staring at us and giving dirty looks, then i decided to buy a water as we were leaving she asks her co worker “did he steal” i then said no i just bought a water then she proceeded to ask me “what’s in my pockets” i said nothing but my vape. This is really hurtful as i’ve been local for the last 3 and half years and quite frequently go and i have never once stolen see it seemed quite racially motivated as i’ve never once i had problem with people there and now i feel quite wounded by this ordeal.

For the size of the store they have excellent selection. Staff are all pleasant and helpful and they do great job

The staff could improve their customer service skills. Impolite and impatient. The speed they throw things at you would get 5 stars in Aldi.

Staff are always very helpful & polite & pleased with food quality. Wasn’t impressed today though by girl at checkout who was too busy on her mobile to serve me...

Having just visited the store, I was again disappointed with the quality of the fresh produce - hence the 'good' score. I only went in for potatoes - Maris Piper type all looked as if 'going over'. I bought the best packet! At the checkout, a young lady was slouched on top of the cash drawer - hidden behind the screen - I had to lean around to see if anyone was there. She scanned my goods and asked for the money - no greeting, no smile. I gave her a £10 note - and my pet hate, she just put my change (a note and coins) in my hand. No "£7.41 change", "Thank-you", nothing. I couldn't believe it - so rude! About time the staff had some Customer Service Training!!! I won't bother going in again for a long time - shame really, I'd rather drive further afield!
