   I needed to post an important letter quickly and did not have an envelope. I was not allowed to pay for the envelope together with the delivery so I had to buy an item from the newsagents to make up the cost to minimum card spend. I then moved to the post office side of the counter and asked for recorded delivery. I was charged £9.35 which I assumed was normal because I haven’t sent anything recorded before. Having checked the receipt this was actually sent as special delivery which I did not ask for and cost me much more than recorded. When I was at the post office desk the person serving told me halfway through the transaction that the post office was actually closed for lunch but continued to serve me - they could have told me when I was purchasing the envelope next to them!! It seemed a comment just made in spite and to make a point. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this post office service.

   This is an underrated shop, he opens early, has a smile and considering the size of the shop a very good selection of the basics. He can't open the post office early, the system doesn't let him. It is a great place to have Amazon drop off parcels, we find it far better than Amazon delivery leaving parcels everywhere. A traditional corner shop. Always a smile from the owners

   Price gouging hand sanitizer during a pandemic is not only illegal, its unethical -- if things get back to normal, remember these were the bad guys. In no small way.

   Pretty standard news agent, Beware minimum spend on card payments! So if you just want a bottle of water don't bother with this place!

   very handy convenience shop for all the necessities. open till late night. Seem to have most stuff that you could require in emergency. The guy running it is friendly and keen to help you. as with most shops like this it is very jam packed so sometimes it could be hard to find what you are looking for but the guy in there is willing to help which is good
