   We have family in the area and so we have stayed here at least 4 times now and we are never disappointed. Great location in the country that is a great home base for visiting family and sites around Ayrshire. The accommodations are superbly clean and well equiped. The farm fresh smells and sounds are so relaxing! We’ll be back.

   We spent a week in The Byre in October 2021 and loved it so much we came back again in February 2022. The place is immaculately clean, warm and comfortable and the owner is friendly and accommodating. There were welcome notes, cake and milk awaiting us on our arrival and lots of different teas and coffees to try too. The rooms are spacious, clean and welcoming with ample storage and the bathroom and shower room are ideal. The large living room is tastefully decorated with plenty of comfortable seating, some of which had been replaced since our first visit, TV, Blu-ray player and plenty books and games for all ages. The kitchen is well sized and well stocked with every item required including crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, and cleaning supplies. The patio to the rear is enclosed and with table and bench and grass bank, ideal for the summer. I'm sure we'll be back again!

   We have just had a great 5 week stay in the Cart Shed from the beginning of December while back in Scotland visiting family. The cottage was spacious, clean and equipped with everything that we could have possibly wanted or needed. The Christmas decorations and thoughtful added touches such as welcome gifts and messages were much appreciated. The hosts were very accommodating and flexible to our changing schedule and were really friendly in all communications. Our sons loved being surrounded by fields of sheep and liked visiting the donkeys in the field nearby. Would highly recommend and would happily return!

   We stayed in "The Cart Shed" for a week in May (2021) and the booking process from start to finish was seamless. On arrival the cottage was spotless and, alongside the personal touches given i.e. home baked cake, welcome message on chalkboard and various others, this made our stay a memorable one. We were in the area to visit family which was perfect for us but the location and experience meant that we have already booked to stay again in July. We would highly recommend this as the perfect base for exploring Ayrshire and beyond. Many thanks to Amanda for all the assistance.
