   We had the best experience at Pocotel. The amenities were fantastic; comfy bed, huge room, good breakfast, location, value, 24hr bar etc. What really made the stay special, however, were the utterly charming front of house team. Special shout out to George and Maria. Both good eggs. I think we have found our new home away from home when we visit Glasgow. Thank you and see you soon!

   Bed was really comfy and staff friendly. That’s the only positive ..We were however in room 118 which was right above the hotel generator/air con which sounded like a freight train coming through all night!! Not a good night sleep. When booking with Itison it described a fitness suit.. on arrival the sign said mini gym… on inspection this was a wee room with a couple of Cardio machines and little dumbbells…. Cummon procotel… this is very misleading!! Overall pity really… been in far better quality travel lodges and premiere inns in city!! Was disappointed

   The staff at the Pocotel were fantastic! Great attitude, helpful and always available. Room was spotless and bed comfort can not be beat. There were great restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here.

   Fantastic hotel in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff. room was good size and great nights sleep. Breakfast was a good range of buffet options and ticked all boxes.

   Avoid at all costs. We stayed last night 19 Oct 21. Sorry to be so negative but I wanted to warn other people. The first room we were shown to smelt like a damp chimney! I had an allergic reaction to the mould (although we did not actually see any) and my throat started to be scratchy, my chest got tight and eyes watered. I do have a suppressed immune system which I have since read makes this reaction worse but I’ve never experienced a reaction like this before. My husband didn’t experience this. The receptionist was very keen to help, which I did appreciate. He showed us to a different room which didn’t smell so bad but on discovering the water never got hotter than tepid even after letting it run for several minutes I had completely lost confidence in the hotel and we left after only 1 hour in the hotel. The receptionist told us it is newly reopened after 1 year. It was formerly the Park Inn so many reviews refer to its previous existence.
