Our hamburger was super salty, I sent it whole back and even after I complained, they added it to the bill. We are regular customers, but this time we didn’t like the way we were served.. some rude staff..
Tried montory jacks md today. Was served by a lovely lady called Liz. Great service Liz explained all halal options and advised burgers can be customised. Starters and mains were yummy Burgers were juicy we will certainly be back again thanks Liz for the great customer service.
All I know is they don’t advertise enough and people are missing out, I have lived in the area for 3 years and didn’t even know they were there! Food was incredible! Very generous portions, no place for dessert! Nice atmosphere, lots of families out for lunch, just a great overall experience, we will be back
I’m a very demanding customer when it comes to food, and Monterey Jack’s truly delivered 100%. The hamburgers are world-class — juicy, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. The fries were crispy and just right. The service was friendly, fast, and professional. Everything — from the food to the atmosphere — was top-notch. Highly recommended!
We went this evening after being excited about it for ages. The place looks great after the refurb! Unfortunately we were seated and ignored, despite the 4 of us sitting like hopeful needy meercats! It was annoying to watch 3 or 4 of the staff chatting by the bar. After being seated for 20 minutes without even soo much as a drinks order being taken we got up to leave. As we left we told the staff why we were leaving to which we got a weak apology and no offer to try and make up for it or explanation. What a shame. Poor show Monterey jack's.
What a venue! We attended over the weekend and it is incredible place compared to before, simply different level! The same can be said for the food, drink and service - simply different level! We enjoyed the Mounty Burger and Yeeha. Burgers were cooked perfectly and the sweet potato fries were the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth! Our wee one went for the Foghorn Leghorn Chicken and he had devoured the lot - he must’ve loved it (or the promise of ice cream!) Most of all, a HUGE shout out to the staff! The venue had only been only opened 3 days and some their first day apparently, ok a few minor things along the way but overall a great experience from what is clearly some great people. Super excited to return and if this is how the staff were on our first visit then they will knock it out on our next (and numerous) returns. It’s tough to find good people/talent these days so kudos to whoever recruited what looks like a great team! Good luck Monterey Jack’s M&Ds, we are buzzing to come back!
A really delicious meal cooked to perfection. A simple cheeseburger but really juicy and full of flavour. The restaurant decor is out of this world with a wild west street (barber shop, general store and hotel) and the stables where we were seated. We literally ate alongside a life size horse named Rab! A really cracking experience. I was driving so stuck to soft drinks, but all the favourites are available. The staff are so friendly and we were really well looked after from being greeted at the door, to Aidan who checked with us regularly and was a great server. Can't wait to dine in the M&D's Monterey Jack's again soon!
