   I needed to renew my insurance but when I rang them they just told me they’d be in touch with a quote but they never rang me. I rang them several times but the final time I rang the man on the phone kept repeating to me to calm down when I was perfectly calm, understandably I was frustrated with their lack of communication. As a woman, this felt very degrading and upsetting. They were all very unhelpful and rude. I have had 3 properties insurances with them for over 20 years and I will not be renewing my policies with them again. I have now found a cheaper and more efficient insurance broker.

   Charging me a CPF of 99 quid for cancelling my policy without clear warning and leading me to go through multiple agencies to find out why I’m being charged this much money many weeks after cancelling my policy! It’s even more than the small Print states for cancelling. Not impressed at all and would not recommend to anyone. Very stressed because of this company

   Beware of business insurance You're probably not actually insured. I learned the hard way. Read your terms and conditions All 115 pages of what you're not actually insured for . They took my money for ten years knowing full well I'm not actually insured. And the first time I tried to claim for business interruption due to power failure from the power Grid. I was told I had to be closed for six hours before I could claim. Considering I only open for five hours at a time that's going to be difficult. I messaged Mike on the email address he offered below Surprise surprise No reply. Another lie to add on to the many others

   Have been on up until recently. Had to cancel a policy and they just keep telling me they have processed the refund. It hasn't arrived 2 weeks later and costing more in calls chasing it. They are not interested.

   Avoid. I don't normally leave bad reviews, I try not to say anything if I don't have anything good to say. Policy was nothing in comparison to the competition. Whole experience felt like the customer is the enemy, to be treated with contempt, and to provide in the policy the absolute minimum required in every respect. Breakdown cover was unusually limited and couldn't be upgraded, would basically only help on the 7 sabath, in the 2nd full moon, when there was a k in the month. There are excessive charges at every possible point in the policy. Cancelled as I didn't feel comfortable once the documents came through (which u don't see before hand due to the web site being set up so u don't), they charge a £90 admin fee for ANY change to the policy, plus cancellation fee. In the end they charged £120 for 3 days on cover under a £220 policy. I'd rather pay it than stay with this bunch of crooks, I just dreaded the idea of what I'd have to deal with it I ever made a claim, I have no doubt what so ever they will try and get out of anything and pay u the absolute minimum possible. Won't be trying them again. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

   Steer clear. Once I'd paid my premium I found them very difficult to contact and very unhelpful when I did eventually get a response. Then suddenly 2 weeks before renewal date they were all over me like a rash, spamming me 3 times a day by e-mail, phone & text. But don't worry, you won't be considering renewing with them anyway as their computer algorithm just adds 40-50% to last year's premium and hopes you won't notice - a shabby practice to which this industry is addicted. Poor.

   I've booked van insurance via comparethemarket.com after validation phone call they lifted up insurance price for extra £1400, accusing me that I haven't put my car collision in the details which was not true. I purchase with different company with all details for £1500 less, and they charged me £50 for cancelation! Not recommend!
