Was really fun to do this a really awesome layout/set, didn't get to the end but the story/narrative was great. Definitely s*#t myself a couple times and so did the family. Staff were friendly and in character rude as hell (like they are suppose to be) thanks!

Done hundreds of escape rooms. Did the basement one. There’s 2 ways of getting an answer to one of the codes which is misleading. The person who ended up coming down because we got stuck was rude and refused to help. The time was running out and instead of trying to give more clues he kept repeating himself. I kept asking several times after it had finished and before it had finished what’s the answer. He left the room, came back and said stop your times run out. I said ok but what was the answer, he then kept speaking over me saying get out your times up. I’ve never had such a poor experience from an escape room. I really wouldn’t waste your time. They don’t care, they’re rude and unhelpful and we left so frustrated. Customer service was honestly appalling.

We were already planning to visiting Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein while in Bath, so we were super happy to also find an escape room on the premises that we could do as a family. Everyone working at the house was very friendly, and we particularly enjoyed that the gentleman overseeing our time in the escape room stayed in spooky character. The room was well themed and all the varied mechanisms worked without issue. The puzzles made logical sense (nothing cheap), and there were more than a few concepts we hadn’t seen before (we have done a large number of escape rooms). Be aware that this is a fairly dark room, particularly to start, so it can be a little challenging if your low light vision isn’t the best. Also, we were overjoyed to learn that the room is air conditioned as it was a very hot day and it is located in the attic. All in all, this was a great addition to a fun day in Bath, highly recommended.

Whole building and staff are very well themed. Really liked the people that were in character. The overall experience is immersive as there is the rest of the house to explore and we enjoyed playing the pinball machine. Spent nearly an hour exploring the house first which was a great precursor and an excellent value-add. If you go I encourage you to do the house tour first before doing the escape room. The escape room, Victor’s lair, itself was a good mix of challenge and thematic scare (no jump scares and my youngest at 11 was ok with it all). I liked the dark / low level lighting element. There were a couple of red herring elements to the puzzles which made things challenging. Not too easy, not too difficult. The person running the room gave us just the right level of help and clue. Four of us did the room together and that was about right. You’d want at least two and it worked well with four. In total 2:30 hours of great experience.

We booked the escape room as a birthday treat. It was definitely a challenge, very well presented and atmospheric!! However, our torch did not work (the torch being necessary as there are some pitch black corners). We asked if it needed replacing for us to continue but received no response and lost time therefore struggling in the dark before we asked a second time and were given a replacement. Also, the introductory brief was a little misleading on what to do first (without spoilers). All in all not a bad experience, and the escape room fits the theme fantastically!

The best escape room I've ever been too. So many scares!
