“Incredible experience. The room was so interactive and fun. we were immersed in the experience from the moment we rang the doorbell to enter the building. Such a lovely and engaging host who really took the time to make everything clear and even talk it through with us afterwards. No complaints, would 100% recommend and have already told all of my friends to go immediately! Wish I could do it again if I didn't already know all the answers now haha. If you're looking for something fun to do, look no further and book this right now!”
“We booked Dave for our sons 6th Birthday party and it was a great decision. Beforehand he was very helpful and very responsive to emails, he even customised the music as our son is a little rocker! The party itself was great, Dave took care of everything so we could relax and enjoy the party, the show was very engaging and the kids loved it. Would 100% recommend Dave and would definitely book him again, thanks Dave!”
“We booked Lucy for my daughter’s 6th birthday party and she was brilliant! She captured and held the attention of 25 5/6 year olds for an hour with magic, comedy and participation. All the kids - and their parents - thought the show was fabulous! Party bags and balloon animals included for all the children was so handy - made the party planning that much easier. Would highly recommend :)”
“Such a great experience with Claire having our daughter’s feet cast. Appointment went really smoothly and we’re so pleased with how the finished product turned out. We went for a box frame - really solid. Such a precious keepsake proudly on display.”
“I took my friend here for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday and the whole experience was an absolute delight! The building and dining room are beautiful and all the staff were so thoughtful and attentive. The afternoon tea itself was really lovely and the food was delicious. My friend was really impressed with her vegan afternoon tea as well. A really nice touch was the unexpected complimentary glasses of prosecco as a birthday treat! 10/10 would definitely recommend!”
“Lovely lodge everything you need. Kids very impressed with WiFi. Bistro on site amazing food and value for money cost online with any pub you go to staff all lovely. 15m drive to bath ( in bath no free parking for disabled and expensive ) Only complaint was did put on booking someone with mobility issue but parking on a slight incline (luckily the person with mobility issues didn't come) so was not a issue in this occasion but could of been. Curtains a bit frayed but no means spoilt the visit. Would def go back.”
“Great multi faceted space. I was there for hema club (historical European martial arts) great place to train with good facilities for water.”
“Great place. I bought everything that I needed to make a bookmark for my girlfriend: set of pieces of fabrics with beautiful prints, glue gun and thread. I'm not to big on a'n'c but that shop made it easier for me. Very big variety of materials for arts and crafts. Highly recommended. Here is a picture of that bookmark (just to show you what kind of great materials you can find there):”
“Had a cocktail masterclass with Ellen for my hen do and she was fantastic! Really knowledgeable and patient with us, tasty cocktails, gorgeous set up. Would recommend xxx”
“I was travelling with my toddler and parents. The staff obliged me with an early check-in for one of the rooms, which was very considerate. The location is great and property itself is very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this property to anyone wanting a nice stay at Bath. We also thank Fauzia for going out of her way to help us. Thank you again for a lovely stay!”
“Lovely hostel up a hill. Getting to and from it is an adventure for the children, and me! Stayed in a nice, private ensuite family room. spacious self catering room. Doesn't have a cooker but has air fryer ovens. Pleasant atmosphere. Amazing views. I would advise taking additional pillows with you. We have now stayed at a number of YHA hostels. Always positive and good value for money. Thank you YHA Bath.”
“A very empty nando. The service was quick and welcoming. The food was very yummy and the desserts were delicious”
“We love adventure babies, it's the highlight of the week for us. We started going when my daughter was a few months old and it's lovely seeing the different ways she interacts with the environment as she grows, she's now nearly one year old. It was the first place she was excited to go to when she began to recognise the entrance! It's a lovely place to meet other parents and it feels like a safe inclusive environment which was really important to me, as I went not knowing anyone and was having a tough time recovering. Tam is the bringer of magic, she considers so many little details and has a warmth and energy that makes the babies light up. She cares about the parents too and I myself also look forward to seeing her every week. For us it is special and we'll keep coming for a long as we can.”

“Great venue, easy to book. Staff (especially Barbara) were very helpful throught the whole process. We hired the Oak room for a kids party. Good space with access to the garden. We could fit in a bouncy castle. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of parking.”
“I don't think any nursery could have done more for my son. So glad I moved my son to this nursery and followed my instinct. will be forever grateful to first steps twerton”
“Whole building and staff are very well themed. Really liked the people that were in character. The overall experience is immersive as there is the rest of the house to explore and we enjoyed playing the pinball machine. Spent nearly an hour exploring the house first which was a great precursor and an excellent value-add. If you go I encourage you to do the house tour first before doing the escape room. The escape room, Victor’s lair, itself was a good mix of challenge and thematic scare (no jump scares and my youngest at 11 was ok with it all). I liked the dark / low level lighting element. There were a couple of red herring elements to the puzzles which made things challenging. Not too easy, not too difficult. The person running the room gave us just the right level of help and clue. Four of us did the room together and that was about right. You’d want at least two and it worked well with four. In total 2:30 hours of great experience.”
“Would have given 5 stars all round but 2 days in a row we didn't get clean towels despite leaving the hanger on the door. The reception did give them to us on request though.”
“For the price that I’ve paid, it is worth of money! Kind of Gen Z vibes. Location-wise it is 15-20 mins walk from the train station, and situated at the center of Bath. Breakfast is provided, good enough for me. They charge for the towel, 2.5£ and luggage storage 2£ per bag, but I dont find it an issue as the room price is considered affordable already. The service and staffs are friendly. Love the ambience of the place. I would consider it again if I ever come back to Bath.”
“Really good! Kids had a great time and I appreciate being able to have an extra headset so I could join in. A big variety of games and we were able to do less scary ones for the younger ones. Thanks a lot!”
“You won't find a nicer shop anywhere for children's toys! There is such a good range of lovely, carefully curated and thoughtful gifts for children of all ages, and a very good selection for neurodivergent children. You can just tell the owners really love and understand children. Everything bought online arrives beautifully packaged and is delivered quickly. It's my go-to place every Christmas and I recommend it to everyone!”
“What a wonderful bit of nostalgia. The little theatre is tucked away but smack bang in the centre of Bath. Mondays appear to be the cheaper nights at roughly £9 a ticket. Inside it really is like stepping back in time. The seats are comfy and if you ask for seat recommendations, the staff are lovely, friendly and honest. We had a great time and it reminded us how much we loved the cinema before the big chains came in!”
“Really great venue, such a unique space. Huge room with dramatic sky light. Nowhere else like it in Bath. Coffee & juices excellent. Enjoyed my bacon bap with great hash browns. Young staff but very much on the ball. Recommended.”
“Beautiful National Trust site. Excellent walks with stunning views. Dyrham Park house is just stunning with beautiful gardens, church, and ponds. You have video history, tea rooms, and a mobility bus for the elderly and disabled. Really helpful, informative staff. We would highly recommend.”
“Great local community hall with lots of varied activities. Accessible. Baby change and toilets on site. Tiny car park is often quite busy, spaces are on the small side.”
“Stunning store set out like a home with every room styled.”
“Improv Lab is just outstanding. The ‘facilitator’ Ash was perfect, gave us confidence and inspiration to enjoy every week of the course; never a dull moment. It was a fun (usually hilarious) but meaningful experience for me as well as the other participants who were , without exception wonderful people. Highly recommend it to build confidence and forget your troubles!”
