   With Comfort for 7 years. No problem. Decided not to renew this year. Only given 7 years NCB. ( no claim in 20 years). When queried, was told they only give NCB for years with them. I have no record of who I was insured with 7 years ago. Therefor I only have 7 years NCB. Ironically if I’d only stayed for 1 year I would have known who my previous insurer was. Not happy

   First impressions weren't great, when I paused filling in the online form for a quote because I was busy at work. 2 hours later, I get an unsolicited call from them. I was still busy, so needless to say I wasn't happy to be disturbed with a sales call. Second, when I did complete the form, there were some odd things they'd taken for granted that weren't actually right, so I called them. Third, the lady I spoke to sounded like she had far better things to be doing than being bothered by someone who wanted to buy insurance. But in the end I got a half decent quote and took out the policy. Finally, the next day the seller told me I would need to collect a day earlier than previously agreed. So I called to change the start date, only to be told that would cost me a £35 admin fee. After a discussion with a manager, I was told me they wouldn't waive that under any circumstances - even if that meant losing my repeat business. It's the most stupid customer service decision. They'll make far more from my repeat business than the £35, but they'd rather risk losing that than waive the admin fee. Needless to say I'll be going elsewhere when the policy runs out in a years time.

   Had a front tyre let go on the motorhome in Germany. Contacted and where great. Towed and dropped off near a tyre centre. Replaced tyre next morning and back on the road by 11am. Cheers Jeff

   Dreadful experience. Gave a quote, we accepted and paid in full. Then they asked for a photo of it outside of the address- which we did- then they said they cannot insure it if we park it on the road. What kind of company won't let you park on the road. DOH. They cancelled it before it had begun. And they are charging us 30quid for the privelege. The cheek. And we cannot get the refund of our money to pay a new company leaving us in the lurch. Disgusting way to treat people.

   I sold my van before the renewal date for my insurance and notified Comfort Insurance. Since then they have robbed me twice via direct debit, tried to obtain monies with menaces, threatened me and sent it all to their own debt collection agency. I would stay well clear of these crooks.

   Excellent service experienced. Their representative Chloe helped with the very sad task of cancelling my late father's policy following his recent death. Then quickly set up a new policy in my name. My father used Comfort for years without any hassle, so it was an easy decision to go with them myself. Recommended.
