Great wee launderette. Hadn't been for a while because I moved away from the area. The wee man is just so nice and chatty. ⭐️
Everyone should just stop using this place. It's an absolute rip-off. Even just using the washing machine now will cost you £7. What a joke.
Dropped a suit off and was charged extra to get some blood out of the sleeve. Didn’t mention that this was an issue when picking up the suit until I noticed and went back. At which point they tell me they didn't have the chemical to get blood out even though they've had the suit for 5 days. Edit: Since I clearly can't comprehend the English language and didn't make it clear in the first message. You were made aware of the stain. You did say you could get it out. Nothing was mentioned of 'not guaranteed'. You charged me extra specifically to get the stain out. You openly admitted that you didn't have the right chemical to get the stain out when I picked it up.
Avoid! Wish I could leave a zero star rating. They ruined an expensive pair of curtains by melting the blackout lining and refused to take any responsibility or to give a refund. When I showed them the damage they told me they knew it would happen when the curtains were cleaned, but did it anyway. When I looked more closely, there were actually tiny holes in the curtains which the light shines through. Granted they are a bit cheaper than other places like Timpsons etc, but honestly not worth it, go somewhere that won't ruin your curtains!
Owner was rushing me when I was I was taking my time to put the clothes in the drier nicely to make sure they don't come out creased. Saying something along the lines 'just throw them all in' 'trust me I've been doing it for 30 years' and 'if it was busy here people wouldn't be waiting for you but it's not busy at the moment so it's fine' The thing is, there's always a couple of machines out of order but the owner chooses to rush a customer to make things quicker I came 3 weekends in a row spending spending £15-20 on laundry each visit so I think I should be at least entitled to taking a few minutes to do things the way I want to but I guess I'll just go elsewhere
Friebdly, helpful staff. Good opening hours (7 days) Can usually always get a machine right away.
Fantastic very pleased with this laundry service. I like taking my bed washing round and drying it off at the laundry. I wash it at home and go round and dry it at the laundrette. I pay £2 for using the machine and then I will put £1.70 in the dryer and the bedding will be complete and dried up.
Poor service. Paid £50 for duvet and protector to be washed. Came back with stains. Contacted manager who wanted to charge me to fix
Great prices and friendly owner - definately the place to go when needing laundrette services - top marks!!
Very pleasant shop. Had a suit dry cleaned which was covered in stains and it came back spotless, would definitely recommend this laundrette.
