Don't bother with them if you have a property in Italy. Their website tells you that they cover Italy, fully comprehensive, no worries, all sorted. However when I went on to them it was a different matter. They have chunks of the country they don't cover for the exact risks you are trying to insure against. They won't tell you what areas these are, they simply make you tell them and then say yes or no and tell you it's the underwriters' fault. The bottom line is that they are happy to take your premiums, but if there's a possibility you might make a claim, that's a different matter. I have no beef with that if they tell you up front, that they won't give you certain insurances for certain areas, but they don't, they show you a part-truth and draw you in and then waste your time. Since my only experience with them is of being led up the garden path, I can't give them more than one star and hope this encourages them to change their website to something that doesn't misrepresent their actual position on Italy.
