This place is unbelievably disorganized and unreliable. They booked me an appointment, made me drive 3 hours with my two small children (a 2-year-old and a 4-month-old), and then told me the embassy was closed when I arrived. No notice, no communication, nothing. It shows a complete lack of respect for peopleβs time, money, and responsibilities. Their management is careless, their scheduling is unreliable, and their customer service is practically non-existent. After this experience, I have zero trust in their system. If there were an option to give zero stars, I would.

I completely agree with the previous reviewer. The staff here show a shocking lack of basic manners and are consistently unhelpful when it comes to providing clear answers or any form of direction. As for the phone system β itβs an absolute joke. Youβre left feeling as though youβre navigating a bureaucratic maze with no intention of helping the people who actually need support. It honestly feels like the tyranny of Saddam Hussein continues with how impossible and dismissive the entire process is.

Helpful and diligent staff, I was applying for an identity card and the staff helped us tremendously. They even copied documents for us rather than sending us to photocopy and print outside the embassy. The consul was extremely helpful and answered my questions and queries despite not knowing. It is pleasant to see such level of dedication from an Iraqi governmental workers.

I would love to give zero rate, but no options to do so. Despite billions of pounds in oil and natural resource revenues, the embassy and its online services remain inefficient and extremely poor. Their website doesnβt function properly, making even simple tasksβsuch as booking an appointment for a National IDβimpossible after many attempts on different laptops, mobile phones, and PCs. It keeps showing no slots available. Phone calls involve long waits, only to be hung up on twice after 40 minutes each time, with 65 reported calls in total. At the embassy, waits are long, staff are inexperienced and unresponsive, and even simple documents cannot be processed. It feels as if delays are being created deliberately to keep people waiting.

I spoke with a gentleman on the phone with a simple query as to how to book an appointment to arrange a travel visa. He was extremely rude I was taken aback! I hope this is not an indicator of their customer service as it was pretty shocking
