Excellent service on a very very busy day for them. The overall styles were great, definitely something for everyone. We have been buying from dfs for over 20 years and they never disappoint.

***Be careful ordering from here *** They will tell u anything to get a sale We asked repeatedly when buying a corner sofa if they deliver to upstairs apartments was told no problem. Come delivery day they turned up late and then the two delivery men refused to carry the sofa which was in several boxes in sections as they don't do stairs as it takes to long, and they left my poor wife to carry the majority up on her own, while they stood clueless. She then had to show them a picture of how the sofa should be put together as they didn't know what they were doing. Very poor service

Went in today with the intentions of buying a sofa, we found the one we liked and was going to order it. However was approached by a rude lady who put us off instantly so we went home to order it online. Read through some reviews, seems like they have a problem with younger couples buying furniture.

Avoid purchasing at all costs. I had ordered a sofa on the 19th of Dec 2022 with a promised delivery of first or 2nd week of January 2023. The delivery never happened (currently 3rd of February 2023). You can never call the store directly, and their customer services on the phone all they can say is βThe store will need to contact you backβ which they never do. When you do pop by the store, if the manager isnβt there, again the team canβt help at all (or so they say). I have now decided to cancel the sofa and pick one up from John Lewis. I have already scheduled a delivery for 8th of February and already got a text message confirmation. Currently, their customer services state they canβt issue refunds so I should wait for the store manager Nigel to call back (which 3 days later he never did). I was lucky as I paid with an AMEX card so I have raised a dispute and AMEX have returned my money; I donβt want to imagine what people paying with Debit Cards would go through. Neil was a helpful staff member that promised to call me back once and he actually did. I feel sorry for Neil working under Nigelβs supervision. Nigelβ¦ if you canβt manage to get the customerβs sofas on time, the LEAST you can do is call them and approve their refund. You should be ashamed sir. If you want to pay in full for a sofa, and never get one, then this is the right place for you.

If you want to be pestered and pressurised into a sale then don't go to DFS. Their way is to welcome you when you arrive and then let you get on with looking around. They're never far away if you need advice or information though. We've purchased from DFS many times over the last couple of decades and always been impressed with the high level of service (thank you Abby!) and the choice offered. The newly revamped store at Bristol is beautiful too; loads more space and all clean and tidy.

Was missold a fake leather sofa by dfs. Am still paying for it. Leather is peeling off (which genuine leather does not!) Dfs have been terrible at resolving the ongoing issue. Previous sofa was from dfs and had over 15 years never experienced issues like this! Don't waste your money

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, explained all things well. Had excellent sofa from them before, now replacing after 17 years. Great range, priced reasonable. We took advantage of 4 year interest free credit, which you can pay off early without penalty.
