    Ive had a policy with compass underwriting since 2006 due to health problems I had no other option than to claim on my policy,, once alllll the paperwork got sorted out the insurance company have up held my claim and have payed everything im entitled to todate, I personally have had no problems....

    Telephone contact impossible as the number always goes through to a person at a call agency based in Nottingham who always says she can take your details and someone will call you back within 24 hours which never happens. Tried emailing them again nobody ever replies. Does this company EXIST if so how do they do business, Carrier Pigeon maybe. !!!!

    Every single attempt at trying to call the office number is met with someone saying "the main office line is busy, we'll get someone to call you back" - which never happens. Absolute waste of time. I just had a simple query - I can't believe how frustrating it would be if you actually needed to make a claim. Insurance cancelled now anyway.

    I have been trying to obtain a copy of a policy I have held for 10 years+ for 2 months now after the original document was lost. The switchboard is courteous, but can only suggest a general E-mail address or a call back, which rarely happens. On 2 occasions they have promised to e-mail details of my policy and failed to do so on both. God knows what we would do if we had to make a claim. Not good enough.

    I started a claim back in mid April after being made redundant, still have not received a penny from them although I had managed to speak to one of the advisors there and said they were waiting for some more information from my previous employer. I ended up contacting previous employer and managed to get alternative email address for Compass so they could contact them, still waiting for response another month on and no contact or update on what is happening, contacted former employer they told me all information had been passed to Compass ages ago, so it seems to me that they are trying everything in their power to avoid paying me out, I have been paying this insurance for around 6 years now, this is extremely stressful and disappointing coming from a supposedly professional company, shall be contacting financial Ombudsman to make a complaint.

    Another Deliveroo driver using the "free insurance" through Compass Underwriting, which by the way it works is as good as no insurance whatsoever. If you have an accident as a driver and wish to rely on the provided "insurance", forget this and look for support elsewhere. They are out of office whenever you attempt to reach them, hardly reply calls, and you can send as many report forms as you like, you won't get an answer. An absurdly disrespectful company towards their clients, don't expect anything else.

    The worst insurance company yet. I am a Deliveroo driver who broke his arm at work and was being given income protection by Deliveroo through Compass Underwriting. Through their slack responses, unclear policies and unresponsive team, I lost a full month of work and had to go back to work against medical advice. Compass did not get their paperwork done on time and couldn't tell me when my coverage was ending and because of this I stayed off work while awaiting their response. Compass blamed their way out of the problem on a technical problem and then my claims manager wouldn't take my call and gave answers through a colleague who tried several times to hang up on me and wouldn't give me the names of any of the compliance managers or take any responsibility for their non-existent response times. If you wish to feel unsafe, use Compass. Their awful conduct indicates to me why the Gig economy isn't all it's cracked up to be.
