Kitchens by Design put in our new kitchen in 2021.....the consultation and fitting were excellent and we've been very pleased with the results for all that time. In addition, Paul came over recently to help with a problem (not caused by his company) , three years after the fitting. Excellent service and highly recommended
We used Kitchens By Design to fit a kitchen as part of a home extension project. They quickly addressed any queries on the design and Paul did a fantastic job fitting the kitchen. He proactively checked on our builders progress so he knew when to schedule the fitting and had lots of good advice on the final configuration options while completing the work. We highly recommend them.
Our old kitchen received little natural daylight and consisted of tired, dark wood units installed in the early 1980's. We really wanted our new kitchen to lighten the space, while also being practical and easy to use. The project was transformational and included removal of external walls, installing bi-folding doors, and a radical new kitchen design ... and all within a Grade II listed building. In addition to light, the priority for the new kitchen was functionality. An in-built dishwasher and fridge-freezer were integrated into the design, as well as a new oven and induction hob. To improve lighting and worktop usability, under cabinet lighting was installed to bring warmth and improved visibility. We chose to move away from a traditional style kitchen and selected white, minimalist Leicht wall cabinets units and grey veneer wood floor units. The colour of the units opened up the space and maximised daylight from the new bi-folding doors. Adding a breakfast bar to the space provided extra surfaces for eating, preparing meals and socialising. The cool, pale green glass splashback injected colour, warmth and individuality into the kitchen. We love our new kitchen and throughout the whole process felt that Kitchens By Design wanted us to be happy with the end results. The KBD team were always contactable and very welcoming in the showroom.
