Happy overall, dish sizes are good, even starters are fine to feed a person, fish and chips indeed great, pork ribs delicious. Have not tried steaks, cannot judge. Food came extremely fast! For 3 adults the bill was 65 GBP. So not bad for a meaty lunch, would spend 50 at any fast food chain anyway.
Great for a casual dinner with friends. Service was on the slower side but prices are reasonable and staff are friendly. Portions are large as well which is a plus. Would recommend the salmon but definitely give the creamed spinach a miss. Chicken was cooked well although slightly too charred in some places for our liking
We came here to celebrate our anniversary after a show, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff truly made the evening special – so attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The cocktails were absolutely lovely, beautifully made and full of flavor. We also ordered the steak, which was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. Overall, it was such a memorable experience and the perfect choice for a special occasion. We left feeling happy, full, and so glad we chose this place for our celebration. Highly recommend!
Don’t be fooled by the 2024 Award sign and the images. Nothing we ordered was even worth it. The quality and ingredients are very bad. Guacamole they use are the fake jars ones you buy at the grocery store for chips. Canned cheap ingredients for the nachos sauce and toppings. Mac and cheese was the lowest quality cheese I have ever tried in my life that might be powder cheese and water. The steaks taste like they have been stored in the fridge forever. Sirloin Steak is 70% fat!! Ribeye Steak tasted terrible! The atmosphere was very sad and dead. The diet coke we ordered was not refillable. Please think twice as the prices they have might give you the image like you are paying for a high quality but not really! Don’t trust fake reviews!
We had a lovely meal here. With a steak you can't go wrong really?! The onion rings were lovely. The pepper sauce that came with our meals was far too small. I had to compensate with some mayo as I refused to purchase another pepper sauce. Steak was ok, it wasn't anything special just a regular steak. Sweet potato fries were nice. Missed having a tomato with my steak! No option to add one on either. Nice birthday treat at the end for my friend with the whole of the restaurant staff singing happy birthday to her along with a yummy dessert. That was a cute treat and a complete surprise for her. (Pre-arranged when we booked online) The service was mostly attentive throughout our meal. It took a long time to get our bill at the end and get the attention of a waiter or waitress. We split our bill between us a group of friends and luckily I checked the card machine as I nearly got charged for the whole meal when 3 of us had already paid! Luckily I checked how much was on the card machine before pinging my card!!! It is over priced and London priced for a steak but it was a nice average steak and you won't go hungry.
Was expecting to spend more, but was decently charged for main, dessert and drink for two people. Burgers were a little disappointing, but fries were good. Mac n cheese was some of the best I've had, and the desserts (rocky road and tiramisu) were good too. Presentation of the food was pleasing tk the eye. Staff were very nice, accommodating and saw to us quickly.
Good not to expensive bottle of wines. Not cheap but not expensive good quality of beef. I have entrance of salad, 10 oz piece of beef that to be honest I want medium but comes well done…a little disappointing because when it is over cooked meat loses the juice. Just repeat twice what you want to be sure come as you want. Desert were fine, a cheesecake not to big but in general a good value for the money.
Service was very good despite the restaurant being very busy. Many people cueing outside waiting for a table. Reservations are a definite good idea. candy floss prosecco tree drinks to start. Had the potato skins to start which were lush. My 10oz medium fillet steak was perfectly cooked to my liking. Will be coming back soon.
Came here without reservation even though it was really busy. Food was nice but my steak was overdone. They did offer to replace it subject to a long wait but I was too hungry. They even offered free dessert and cocktails which I was very grateful. I guess it was just an off day but I was truly amazed how amazing the owner/host, our server and all the staff were. Their service is exemplary and if I ever come back to London, I will visit again for sure.
The staff was brilliant. Very warm and welcoming. The steak however was average.The sides are extra and it costs upto 25 to 30 pounds for a steak and sides. Chicken was much nicer! Great service though!
