   Went for my 3 year old daughter. From the reception staff, Doctor and everyone in between were so lovely and attentive. Total time took 1.5 hours and was consistently seen throughout for tests and triage. Very assured with the results and advice because the test and report back immediately and also test the medicine they provide over the next few days with your sample to see if its the right one.

   I came to the Ruh in October with multiple breaks in my leg including an open fracture. The Hospital staff were amazing, reassuring, professional and confident. I feel incredibly lucky that they were there to help me when I was at my most vulnerable.

   My dad went into the I.C.U. department for a number of days and then sadly passed away. The staff in I.C.U. are faultless. They are very compassionate and caring but the one Nurse that stood out the most to myself and family was Ella. She was super amazing, very caring and compassionate but she took the time to talk us through every step of my dads passing with her very gentle calming voice. She even shed a tear with us. She is a huge credit to the hospital and Ella if you read this...a huge warm thank you for caring so much for all of us including my dad (clinton)

   I want to say a big thank you to all the staff at the RUH who saved my husband’s life when he arrived in A&E with a life-threatening infection. I cannot speak highly enough of the care, compassion, and skill he received. From the remarkable expertise of the MaxFax surgeons, to the dedication of the nurses in intensive care and on the ward, and even the good humour of the porters — every single person played a part in his recovery. We are profoundly grateful.

   I've spent more time than I'd like at the RUH, but never had a bad experience. Special thanks to the IBD department, urology, maternity, and the team on Robin Smith ward. All the doctors, nurses and midwives I've dealt with across all departments have been so helpful and reassuring. This hospital is a credit to the NHS.

   Lovely hospital and staff. Been in and out recently but advised its a better hospital than those further a field. The shop is quite limited for fresh fruit, dairy etc but do sell cards, magazines, biscuits and nibbles. The atrium is not overly good. Highly priced, stall cakes and limited vegetarian foods.

   First time visiting this hospital today. Very friendly & helpful staff. There is a parking office just inside the main entrance & the lad manning it was again very helpful who went out of his way to assist us. Nice layout inside and looked very clean as you would expect of course. Quick service as well as I had a number of things to be checked in a couple of different areas but was in & out much quicker than I would have expected.

   A&E on Christmas day. I have never been taken care of so well. The staff are just awesomely reassuring and calming. I was in and out within 4 hours with treatment given. Cannot praise them enough, thank you!

   Bath RUH and RNHRD are fantastic hospitals but unfortunately they are being let down by the lack organisation related to the refurbishment in the Imaging Department. I fully appreciate that the hospital is trying to catch up following Covid and for that I am really thankful. And offering appointments on Saturdays is a good idea; however, I agree with other reviewers that the map and instructions to get to the other side of the hospital for the mobile MRI and CT Scanners is poor. Also, patients with mobility issues need some help. I discovered a disabled patient at the bottom of the steps to the scanner who was unable to get up the steps and could not make herself heard to the staff in the scanner. Please provide some assistance for disabled patients before an accident happens.

   The spiritual center in the RUH. This area is a shared area for all patients, staff and visitors to help find peace in faith or no faith. A place of prayer. A place where private and confidential discussions can be spoken. A place where you can can share, talk or just gather your thoughts. A place you can sit for a while away from the business of the hospital to find stillness. The door is always open. Life is about knowing we are all made welcome. A place of healing for all, in our separate journeys of life that are interwoven with others.
