Excellent experience today attending West Mendip with what turned out to be a fractured ankle. Everyone was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable - from the lovely lady at reception, to the practitioner who examined me, the radiographer who did my xray, and the HCA who fitted my walking boot. The whole thing from hobbling in to walking out in a boot took less than an hour - amazing service and care, thank you NHS.

Wonderfully efficient. I was in and out with a very painful swollen knee in about 30 minutes. Really good staff from Reception to being handed suitable medication. The entire experience showed what great people the NHS has. When they are well organised the place just flies!

If you want to go somewhere with THE RUDEST staff, here is your place! I had to take my daughter in for a sprained ankle and the nurse at the front desk accused me of lying about being my daughter's mother because I couldn't remember my ex husband's new postcode (they had just moved and I had to update their other address) and was completely dismissive and was suggesting I was stupid. I also had to bring all 5 of my children but since it was basically empty it shouldn't have been a problem. However, another staff member (not a nurse, maybe an administrator) was making comments about noise and mess (my 2 year old was playing with the provided children's toys which by the way I cleaned up after). And 'couldn't I have left some of them at home?' She then tried to ask the little one a question which I answered for him (since you know, he wasn't listening and could barely talk at that age) and she looked me crossly in the eye and said 'I wasn't talking to you I was talking to him' We were made to feel like we were a huge burden, daring to seek medical care for a sprained ankle in an empty medical centre. We are terribly sorry we cut into your instagram scrolling time, and I am also terribly sorry that I can't leave small children at home unattended. I also could not be more sorry that I didn't memorise my ex husband's postcode the week he moved in.

What an amazing efficient place. After phoning the hospital I was advised to go into the urgent treatment centre at the hospital the next day. Amazing staff, friendly, reassuring and so efficient and definitely went the extra mile. A really clean organised place where you are assessed, advised and treated. I can't recommend this place enough. By doing this i hope it doesn't become overwhelmed but this had to be reported as its a jewel in Glastonburys health service. Liz Henry

Visited West Mendip hospital today (on a Saturday), in need of antibiotics. Waited less than an hour to see a very helpful nurse. Left with the drugs and advice I needed. An exemplary service from receptionist and nurse. We're so so lucky to have the NHS and the amazing people who work there. Thank you.

Fabulous! Thank you for looking after me when I was feeling poorly - for listening and making sure I had the meds I needed. It was much appreciated.

Took my Wife to A & E yesterday where it was diagnosed she had a fracture to her right leg. I wish to thank all staff for their courtesy and professionalism, particularly a nurse named Alice who was most kind and considerate, in our opinion a credit to her profession. Thank you all

I have been several times and seen several Nurses all of whom h ave been competent/thorough and caring. I would not hesitate to go again if I had to. And as for the receptionists they have a lot to contend with -!computers that do not work/staff not arriving AND rude impatient patients. Be grateful we have these places and the wonderful staff.
