Awful hospital. The care in regard to gynaecological issues is just abhorrent. I urge you to attend Musgrove instead for your gynaecological care and your sanity.

We’ve been using Yeovil hospital for our pregnancy care and can not say nothing but great things. We went in for early appointments and scans due to bleeding in early pregnancy and they all were completely supportive and caring through the scary time compared to the care we received at Salisbury hospital where we had to wait a total of 19 hours to be seen for bleeding in early pregnancy. We’ve received the greatest care and support from the midwife’s and antenatal team on hand. We struggled a little with the business and waiting time, but this can not be helped as we appear to be having a baby in a busy time of year. We look forward to seeing the labour care side of things, but definitely feel they have a great team on hand and have made some huge improvements to their care and services.

I agree with the third comment .they argue with facts they are not specialised in . Awful I had a midwife called Lucy who seen a faint line on the pregnancy test but still declined me to go to early pregnancy clinic . She said the line can't be faint well research said otherwise. I explained i had all symptoms of pregnancy one was feeling hsppy like a rush of dopamine in the mornings ( i had this with my daughters pregnancy) lucy said it coud be the menopause lol . When you go through the menopause you loose estogen not gain so feel groogy depressed etc . Lucy said your hair / nails dont grow through pregnancy either . This midwife had no knowledge. I might be early on in pregnancy. Ive had 8 positive tests one bood test positive she said these were all wrong. My uturus is tilted so explained in my private scan and on there website this can effect the view of the pregnancy throughout. Well guess what Lucy said this was wrong too. Lucy then said a NHS scan cost too much money. I worked for the nhs and this is the service I got no help and declined help. When I had the scan she litterly was 5 mins and didn't let me look at the screen ..on the notes it said because of my weight that can effect the view norhing else ... The worst experience. I can see now why watchdog investigated this ward . Absolute shocking

I am from Bristol, and due to high volume of ladies that needed to be induced including me, I was asked if I wanted to be induced in Yeovil and they could start my induction as soon as I got there. Me and my fiancé decided to go with being induced in Yeovil, as soon as we got there we got put into a room and within 2 hours of being there they broke my waters. We had the most amazing care from midwifes and care assistants and all of the staff were so friendly toward both me and my fiancé. They offered me a meal as soon as we arrived and they also asked if my partner would like food which was lovely as most hospitals don't offer that to the dads. It was lovely and quiet in the hospital and were seen and taken care of so smoothly and quickly. Would definitely opt to have a baby again in Yeovil. They were fabulous with my baby when she was born, carried out lots of monitoring when needed. The hospital have little sofas that pull out into bed which was so helpful as my fiancé was able to get some sleep which was definitely needed. The hospital was lovely and clean and the shower facilities were good and was able to have a nice area to freshen up after having little one. Honestly so thankful for all the amazing people there. Also special shoutout to the lady that delivered are baby she truly was fantastic and forever grateful we had her help bring our baby to the world, I can't remember her name but I've attached a photo❤️ Thank Yeovil womens hospital x

Nothing but good stuff to say about the nurses and doctors at the women's hospital, my wife has had to go in a few times and the staff have always been amazing, helpful and take the time to talk to you. Only issue we had once was with a locum doctor called Boris, the staff, especially the nurses were helpful with this as well and even gave my wife a call to check she was okay.

Lovely experience at the women's clinic today. Visited for my yearly checkup for my chronic condition and I was well looked after. Dr Mridula was reassuring and friendly, it helps tremendously when you feel vulnerable. I didn't have to wait at all, was seen right away. Thank you for your care and kindness.

Do NOT come here if you have endometriosis. I've had a gynae consultant, a nurse, a fertility junior doctor, and another gynae nurse ALL tell me they either hadn't heard of endometriosis, or very clearly had misconceptions about what it was. Avoid at all costs and go to somewhere where the gynae team actually know of the condition and give you the correct treatment. Same applies to fertility issues/recurrent unexplained miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies.

The worst hospital ever...Got pregnant and had spotting, been told that pregnancy is not developing, asked doctor if at least pregnancy was in right place, been told 100% it's in uterus. After week got pains, and still was told to keep checking every week for scans even I already new and told them that pregnancy in folipian tube, but still been left in pains until I needed to have a surgery and remove my tube. The lady who told and called her self doctor couldn't even look to my eyes and tell me that she was wrong. I would never ever will go to this hospital.. My appointments was in morning but to see doctor been able almost in evening, so was every time waiting all day in waiting room. Can say doctors with the zero knowledge...
