   All the staff were very kind and helpful, from the anaesthetist (Tim) who came to meet me at my hospital bed prior to my going in for surgery (to update me on what the process would be) to the physiotherapist who came to see me (twice) after the operation. I also had a very kind and attentive nurse, Sian, regularly checking in on me. Nothing was too much trouble. I was also provided with a lovely lunch (I’d chosen from a menu) and regular drinks. I’d heard excellent things about The Bath Clinic before but I was still so impressed. They’d definitely be my first choice of hospital if I had to have another operation.

   I had a total knee replacement at the Bath clinic on 13th December and I honestly cannot praise the clinic highly enough. From admission through to discharge, the care I received was exceptional. The clinic was calm, well organised, and every member of staff was kind, professional, and genuinely reassuring, which made such a difference during a stressful time. My surgeon, Mr Pope, was outstanding. He was warm, calm, and extremely professional, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making me feel completely confident and at ease. I felt I was in very safe hands throughout and am incredibly grateful for his care and expertise. The anaesthetist and the two ladies who worked alongside him were also amazing — so kind, reassuring, and attentive, helping me feel calm and well supported at a moment when that really mattered. The catering was very good too — meals were tasty, well presented, and arrived promptly, with friendly and accommodating staff, especially post-surgery. Overall, my experience was extremely positive. I felt listened to, supported, and genuinely cared for at every stage. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Bath clinic and thank the entire team for their outstanding care.

   From the first consultation with Mr James Berstock to Saturday’s departure and being waved off by the amazing nurse Tyler I felt I was in very very good hands but most importantly very safe hands. The expertise and nursing afterwards were exemplary. The lovely catering staff even made sure there was nothing I wanted for. Of course total knee replacement is brutal but the expertise of the procedure followed by dedicated, friendly professional nursing staff made the experience as good as it could have been. It was rounded off by a professional but friendly physio lady called Jade who encouraged me endlessly and told me I was doing “better”. I cannot recommend the Bath Clinic highly enough.

   All staff were lovely but a particular mention to Kathryn, my dedicated nurse on Claverton Ward. She was kind, caring and gentle and answered any questions fully. I also appreciated the follow up call from her a few days later to see how I was getting on and whether I had any post op concerns to date. Excellent care from start (contact with the efficient secretaries) to finish.

   The Circle Clinic is outstanding. From the moment I arrived everything was incredibly efficient, the standard of care was excellent and the staff were incredible. In particular, the nurse who was responsible for me was called Tyler and she was genuinely amazing. She was highly competent and really reassuring as a result, but more than that she took incredible care of me and went way above and beyond to make sure I was ok. As an illustration I left the hospital at about 8:30pm and she saw me in the car park and offered to help me get in the car. I’m pretty sure she was 2 hours late going home at that point.

   I was very nervous about having this total hip replacement, having waited quite a while, hating needles and having other health n family issues in the past year. I could not have been more wrong. I was treated like royalty by everyone at the Bath Clinic, from the lovely receptionists, nurses, consultant, anaesthetist, physio team, serving staff, cleaners, etc. My 2 day stay was absolutely perfect, and I was up walking within 7 hours of surgery. Thank you to everyone, and keep up the great work. Food was amazingly tasty.

   I went in on a Saturday and was very well looked after and showed to my room. Once there I had plenty of people coming in, checking on the me and explaining things about the operation and what would be happening leading up to it. The hospital staff and operating staff were very friendly and set me at ease. After the operation, I was taken back to my room and was once again looked after and when I needed help, there was always someone there to help. I was there for 2 nights and was catered for great, with nice food and care. On leaving, I had plenty of after care explained and was able too leave in good time.

   I am writing this review on behalf of my mum, Josephine Mulligan who had a hip replacement at Bath Clinic in December. We highly recommend Bath Clinic and we cannot thank the staff enough for their expert care they provided throughout mum’s stay and her after care. From the moment we checked in, Zara created such a wonderful first impression of the clinic. Mum’s room was comfortable and clean with adequate facilities and her family were made to feel so welcome whilst visiting. The care from mum’s nurses, Maria and Abigail was first class and they really couldn’t do enough to help mum. We honestly believe they made such a difference to mum’s experience. When being discharged, the pharmacist, Eugene was so thorough and helpful and made sure we totally understood what medicines mum needed to take and when. Once home, we did need to contact Bath Clinic for some after care advice-they we’re so helpful and arranged a same day appointment for us to see an outpatient nurse, Fiona who again was so helpful and very reassuring. We would like to say a big thank you to the nurses and staff at Bath Clinic for their wonderful care and service.

   From my first visit in December with my consultant, through various the scans and procedures, all the way to my operation and my ongoing physiotherapy everyone I’ve dealt with has been professional, friendly, and supportive. The whole experience was extremely positive. Any nerves I had about the procedures and operation were treated with understanding and compassion, I felt that I was in safe, expert hands always. The staff on the ward looked after me wonderfully after my operation, making sure that I was comfortable. It was the best night away I’ve had this year! I hope not to need hospital treatment again, but if I do then I would return to the Bath Clinic and would 100% recommend them to anyone else looking for private treatment. Thank-you to everyone at Bath Clinic.
