   Caxton Grill cooked me into emotional confusion — and honestly, I loved it. As the person behind YourFoodFantasy, I’ve eaten a lot of stunning meals… but Caxton Grill really said, “Hold my cocktail.” I came in expecting a nice dinner; I left wondering if I should rewrite my entire understanding of flavour. The butternut steak? Outrageous. I took one bite and immediately started reevaluating my life choices. The lamb chops were so tender I nearly apologised to them for not meeting them sooner. And the soup? Let’s just say if British weather tasted this comforting, I’d never complain again. Then the desserts arrived. The guava mousse is the kind of dessert that grabs you by the feelings and refuses to let go. The cheesecake? A masterpiece. If I could legally marry a dessert, we’d be planning our honeymoon. And the cocktails… look, I don’t know what wizardry the bartender practices, but after one sip I was ready to make questionable life decisions in the best possible way. The service? Spot on. Warm, attentive, and refreshingly unpretentious. The staff glide around like they’ve been trained by the hospitality equivalent of the Royal Ballet. St. Ermin’s Hotel sets the scene perfectly — elegant, romantic, with just a hint of “007 might walk in any minute.” If you’ve ever trusted a review on YourFoodFantasy, trust this one: Go. Book it.    Delightful place that breaks the stereotypes on hotel restaurants. Great food, cozy ambiance, and incredible staff. Had breakfast there multiple times. Day 2, Ramos automatically brings me a cappuccino because he remembered from the day before... Quiara is another pleasant person who took care of me during my visits.

   Celebrated the anniversary with my girlfriend here ant the service and food was absolutely amazing. Mark, the Restaurant Manager, is very lovely and made sure we had a great stay. 10/10 would be back (personal favorite: Tomahawk steal)

   We were staying in the hotel so we thought we’d give their steak restaurant and a try. Many of the dishes we had were very good. A couple were a bit salty. The short ribs were tremendous. I definitely recommend those. The linguine with mushrooms was very good and had excellent flavor. The olives were a fun touch as an appetizer. The top steak received rave reviews, especially the dipping sauce that went with it. The hummus appetizer was delicious, but the Christine’s were stale. They quickly removed this off our ticket as they agreed that they Were stale. Shagor and Melissa were our servers and they were very attentive but not too attentive. They were very appropriate. We had lots of questions about the area and things to see in London and they were very helpful. Great personalities and very sweet. They took care of everything that we needed and were excellent in everything that they did our group.

   The entrance is from inside the hotel, though they have a sign on the outside door and you'll keep knocking. They serve locally sources produce, including fresh fish. All the dishes we ordered were well cooked. Presentation of the food was particularly beautiful. Service is ok, you might have to get the wait staff's attention.

   Had a wonderful evening in the Caxton Bar. I'd let them know I was expecting about 20 people for celebratory cocktails and when I arrived they'd set up a room for us at the back of the bar with a fire going. It felt private and intimate so everyone felt at right home immediately. The staff were welcoming and charming. It feels like a top notch venue without the pretentiousness. Afterwards two of us had dinner in the Caxton Grill, same lovely service, top quality steak and lamb cooked beautifully, best triple cooked chips I've ever had. St Ermins is a favourite venue of mine, I've had cocktail gatherings, afternoon teas and after work drinks with a friend there over the years and never been disappointed. Love it!

   We had dinner at this restaurant couple of times during our London stay at St. Ermin’s Hotel, overall a great experience, food was great, I wish would have a bit more desert diversity. The staff is very friendly and customer friendly. I would definitely be back!

   We spent our 10 year anniversary here recently, which included a lunchtime tea on the terrace and breakfast in the hotel. Both were utterly exceptional and we will be returning even when we’re not staying here! Thank you to the staff for taking such great care of us and to the chef(s)!!

   Very hospitable staff, wide selection of wines. Food was lightly flavoured in general but still tasty. Battered fish was crispy outside but soft inside, yummy. I'm satisfied with experience I had in this restaurant. Great atmosphere for special occasions.
