**DO NOT GO - NOT OPEN** Extremely disappointed with Venue295. I went there yesterday as my friend had booked with them approximately 3 weeks in advance and paid a deposit via open table. Prior to the day of the booking we had tried to make contact with them to amend the time but not able to reach them via phone or email. The day of the booking we attempted to call as we were running late (this was stated to do in their policy) and majority of the party were travelling far with some as far as 2 hour drive and we did not want to have our reservation cancelled. Upon arrival the restaurant was completely shut with its shutters down. We asked the stores next door if they knew if something had happened and they said the restaurant has not been operating for 2/3 weeks and they constantly have people coming in asking the same thing. When we got there we met 3 other groups (approximately 20 people) in the exact same situation. This is completely irresponsible as a business to not have any information whatsoever online, social media platforms, Google still shows the venue as open, and the phone line provides no message to indicate closure. Accepting booking deposits while not operating, with no communication to customers, goes much further than TERRIBLE customer service it is completely unacceptable. I wish there had been a warning online to prevent this. Very disappointing and something I have never experienced before. This was for a birthday dinner, which made the lack of communication and closure even more disappointing.

Venue 295 — Neasden’s Mediterranean‑inspired restaurant with hearty grills, relaxed décor, and friendly service. Venue 295 is located at 295–299 Neasden Lane, London NW10 1QR. It’s a Mediterranean restaurant and lounge offering a mix of grilled meats, seafood, and classic dishes in a stylish yet casual setting. Menu Highlights Mixed grill platters: lamb cutlets, chicken skewers, and king prawns — often praised for flavour. Seafood dishes: grilled prawns and fish, cooked with Mediterranean spices. Salads & sides: fresh, colourful, and generous portions. Desserts: cakes and sweet treats, with coffee or tea. Drinks: wine, cocktails, and soft drinks, making it suitable for both casual dinners and celebrations.

Came here on a Saturday Evening for my cousins birthday celebration. Table was not ready on arrival we had to wait about 15min to be seated. I love loud music but when dining, this overpowered the experience, the waiter could not hear our drink requests we had to shout to be heard. Waited 1hr for drinks to arrive. When another waiter came to ask for food orders, they asked what drink we wanted to which we said, we had already ordered... when food arrived we all got mains... starters came after we had already finished our main meal. And to top it off, some of us ordered baby potatoes with our meal and we did not receive it. They didn't even inform that they had ran out until we complained. Although manager was approachable he did little to try offer any reconciliation for it. We sent back the starter because why are we receiving it after our main meal that made no sense. The waiter became rude and had such a bad attitude. They were coming around holding a drink asking who ordered it when none of us had, the same with chips portions. The DJ was good, when the place turned into a 'party vibe' no one got up to dance it was terrible ! Only good thing was the company I was with... but honestly I've never been to such an overpriced, underwhelming service in my entire life of living. Would never ever return and do not recommend anyone coming here.

The food was delicious, but the customer service really let the experience down. The waiters took a long time to come to our table, didn’t check on us at all, and we had to wave them down every time we needed something, which felt unprofessional. This was surprising because there were only 2 other groups in the restaurant at 10pm, making the atmosphere feel a bit strange and unexpectedly quiet. I had also mentioned on the reservation that it was my birthday, but nothing was acknowledged no greeting, no gesture, nothing. Overall, the food was great, but the service wasn’t there. I wouldn’t recommend it for a special occasion, though it might work for a very quiet date night.

What started off a good night ended in bad vibes. The drinks were flowing, the entertainment was exciting, the music pumping and the food was great. However a couple of things let the night down. My sister had booked a large table for her 30th birthday. Apparently these slots are only for 2 hours. We were having so much fun that time obviously flew. No warning in fact a waiter came to take another order for drinks but very quickly after that without the drink yet coming we were told to leave because they needed the table back. We were not asked politely. Also there is a bar in the room however you can not simply order a drink from the bar you must sit and wait for the correctly assigned waiter to take your order. Being a busy night there was a lot of people to serve so this took a while, which was annoying considering the bar staff were free at the time and not making an order when I approached them. The restaurant apparently doubles as a night club type venue or at least opens a dancefloor at the end of the night. My sister wanted to stay and celebrate. However since the aforementioned bar is not one where you can chill with drinks you’re supposed to eat, leave then come back later. Strange but whatever. When we were ready to pay, a waitress decided to immediately call my sister “aggressive” just because my sister had to raise her voice over the music to speak to her. Unfortunately what could have been a civilised conversation between the two turned into a heated conversation that the waitress decided to turn her back on my sister and walk away. Luckily a different female staff member cane over to smooth things over and seemed genuinely interested in keeping a smile on my sisters face for her birthday but unfortunately the vibe was already killed.

Good for a night out. The decor and seating is like you are up central London. Food was nice and good service. They say they have entertainment on Saturdays from 9 but it started late and was only 1 lady performing and changing outfits in between. Overall was a good evening with food and drinks and the place isn’t very busy which was good.

Aesthetically pleasing, a good place for Instagram pictures from the doorway to the restaurant itself… even in the ladies bathroom. I went on a Thursday evening 8:30ish and it was virtually empty (2 couples seated). There was music playing in the background which seemed to mainly be AfroBeats. I was greeted by whom I believe to be the owner - he was extremely welcoming and hospitable. A birthday party of about 12 came in soon after which livened the place up a tad. I’ve visited many Turkish cuisine restaurants and taste wise I’d rate this about a 6/10 like I said the aesthetics boost this place. I found the food to be a tad pricey for Turkish food but where some other restaurants lacked (decor etc) this didn’t. I was served complimentary bread with dips which was warm and tasty. I ordered Lamb chops £25 which only comes with a pomegranate side salad (5 smedium chops) so I also ordered Bulgur £4.50 (Pictured) The lamb chops were slightly over cooked but the fat was rendered perfectly. The bulgur was a little bit tough and needed cooking for about 10 mins longer although it was edible. I had a Blue Hawaiian cocktail which wasn’t very strong but quite refreshing and not a load of ice. £11 5/10 This is the place for a birthday or a date night I wouldn’t advise this for young families. Very picture perfect but slightly overpriced in my opinion. Parking is also not the best as it’s in Neasden Shopping Centre - limited bays across the road and the side roads are about an 8 min walk. To my knowledge/I didn’t see step free access with 23 ish steps up to the venue from the street. The ladies bathroom is very good for taking pictures but not the cleanest 3 of the cubicles weren’t clean. They could do with regular checks especially as the restaurant wasn’t busy at all when I came. Total spend £40.50 x1 person Overall 6.5/10
