I had a really great experience here today whilst going for my mammogram. The receptionist was friendly - I was seen early! And the mammogram woman was incredibly thoughtful, informative and kind. She explained what was happening at all times. Please visit and do not be put off by negative reviews. Your health is important.
The mammographer was lovely and explained everything she was doing and put me totally at ease. I was very anxious as my previous experience was the total opposite. The nurse was very abrupt and explained nothing. I appreciate everyone has off day but women having a mammogram are in a venerable situation and a little kindness and sensitively goes a long way.
Very efficient team of staff, from the moment the receptionist unlocked the door all the way through my examination to when I left, staff were helpful, polite & acted very professional. Having a mammogram isn't the best but it's made a more pleasant experience by great staff there.
I got there early for an 8.46am appointment, I walked from home. Brilliant service; I was seen almost immediately by the mammographer who arrived just after me. She was very professional, very quick; I was very impressed and all finished before my actual appointment time. Excellent service, nice walk home and having a cup of tea in front of the telly by quarter past nine. Excellent.
Radiographer showed no kindness or empathy. Was pushed about and hit with a barrage of instructions without a pause for breath so I felt like I had no opportunity to speak, was never asked if I was ok or shown the slightest bit of concern. A bit of kindness and understanding would go a long way. Will never come here again.
Was pulled and prodded by two women for at least 15 mins, was extremely painful. This isn't the normal service I get from here, but these women have put me off ever having a mammogram done in the future.
Receptionist was very loud on and off the phone so no respect for privacy and also very abrupt. Radiologist was lovely.
I have attended mobile screenings before and not really felt comfortable. My experience at the Central Health Clinic was positive from the re-direction from reception staff in the main clinic to the receptionist in the Breast Screening Unit and the radiographer who took my x-rays who was really kind and put me at my ease. I will probably choose to travel to Bristol for future appointments rather than attend a mobile unit.
I had my mammogram this morning (28.07.2015 at 11.48) and was dreading the appt. The mammographer was pleasant but the main reason for posting this review was to say that the receptionist was very warm and friendly. Thank you. Sharon.
