   First Pair are fine. However, had to take back second pair for lenses to be skimmed as they were too heavy on bridge of my nose. Subsequently, had to return as ear ends were moving in and out so different profile ends were fitted for me. Fine now but someone could have pointed out difference when I tried them on on original collection date. Helpful staff.

   My eye test was carried out professionally. Choosing new frames, Sian was extremely helpful and very patient as I was very indecisive she also helped with getting the best price for my choices. Thank you.

   Staff very professional and courteous. But be very weary off any offers and vouchers received as they are in my view very open to interpretation and not in the customers favour. Hence will cost you more money than you expected.

   Welcoming and knowledgeable staff throughout my visit, I had photos ,scans and a field test on arrival and then a sight test carried out by the optometrist/optician, my results were explained to me fully and I was shown the photos and scans. I need my prescription changed and I also wanted new frames so I was introduced to a member of staff who could assist me to choose. I took up the option of spending a little more on frames and getting a second pair free,, which I had the option of having as sunglasses either prescription or normal I then had some measurement taken and I chose which lenses I wanted, tint on the sunglasses and other lenses to suit my lifestyle. I paid and made an appointment to collect/ have my new pairs of glasses fitted. Overall a great experience.

   My experience was not particularly great I have to say. I went in for an eye test in the morning. There was one member of staff on the desk and whilst I was the first person in, I was promptly followed by several other customers. The staff member who served me, whilst being very friendly and polite verbalised several times that she was understaffed and needed help on the desk - someone did eventually come to help but didn't set a great impression to start off with. When it came to the eye appointment itself, I was led downstairs to the optometrist room - we were all wearing masks (it was optional for me but I decided to oblige). The optometrist then had a discussion with the staff member about booking an appointment in over her lunch (this could have been done more discreetly imo). When it came to the check itself I really got the impression that the optometrist was not especially happy. She was not engaging and if anything I felt like she was rushing which made me feel rushed. She asked me to look at the visual screen but it wasn't switched on and then it wasn't centred - it all seemed very haphazard and slapdash with no real care being taken. I said I was going to purchase glasses online, she gave me my prescription and said that I would need two pairs (one for computor and one for everyday) and advised me against purchasing verifocals online. I had to ask for her to explain the prescription as it wasn't very clear. When it came to paying, the card machine was broken so I had to walk to the cash point to get cash and then come back and pay. It just wasn't a great experience, sorry - I hope for better on my next visit (whenever that will be!)

   Had an amazing experience today. Lauren who looked after me & helped me choose my glasses was just the best. I wanted glasses that were geeky but sexy & she was just the best & honest about how each pair looked that i tried on. She is an absolute credit to specsavers give her a pay rise now!
