Gem of place that I found . Hostess polite and engaging. Food is excellent, for an extra price you can have a cooked breakfast. Room clean and tidy. Big carpark. Set in a village. A good base for visiting the surrounding area.
Friendly country pub. The room was clean and well organised. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. The owner was friendly and efficient. Communications were clear and well timed. I would stay again. Lovely location.
Our stay at the Vobster was wonderful. Absolutely first rate service from Peta, the manageress, who was very kind and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable for us all, including our grandchildren. The dinner was tapas and we loved it. Hats off to the chef! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return on our next visit to the west country. Overall 5 stars. Thank you Peta for a lovely stay.
2 Night stay. Nice, quiet location. Wonderful woman/staff. Very welcoming & informative regarding the area. We had the double room (4). It was very tidy. Only issue was, there was an old thick dirty cobweb behind the armchair in the room and also black stuff on the walls here and there. Our Continental breakfast was really nice. If you wanted a cooked breakfast you have to pay extra. We did not use the bar. Soft matrass. I slept well but my wife did not. (Hard to please everyone with a matrass). We did not use the tapas style menu.
We had a wonderful stay in the bunkhouse. Host Peta was friendly & welcoming. Accommodation was warm, comfortable & had everything we needed with the added extra of a hot tub. Great little find & enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for a visit to Longleat Safari Park.
What a fantastic Gem. food and service is fantastic. the glamping is second to none. owners are very friendly and made us most welcome.

Excellent experience,the family room was huge,spotlessly clean.The food was fantastic,and the service was beyond reproach,really enjoyed ourselves,hopefully will have the time to visit again.Highly recommended.
