Aaron was incredibly helpful in arranging viewings of properties in central Bristol and super-responsive throughout the process of offer to move-in.
My partner and I were looking for a tenancy and were very disappointed. They showed us 2 properties, owned by an investment company. They were both in very poor state, were not particularly cheap, and when asked to do simple health and safety fixes such as fixing damp walls around windows, we were left with an unsatisfactory denial. They would not even discuss it with the company. They do not have real house owners, only investment funds who do not care about health and safety and will make people live in poor households where they could easily get sick. I will not be viewing houses with them again. EDITED: After writing this review, I received a very angry e-mail from the agency telling me to "take off" because this was a "nasty" review, and they had had a stressful day. I cannot speak too highly of Gough Quarters. They looked after our house in Merchants Landing for ten years and were excellent. Aaron Gough was very knowledgeable, always helpful and always reliable. I recommend this firm in the strongest possible terms.

We rented a property managed by Gough Quarters for five years. Whenever there was an issue, it was generally responded to and resolved very promptly. Aaron is highly responsive to emails, so any questions we had were always dealt with quickly. The property was decorated neutrally prior to us moving in and it was fine for what we needed at the time. When we left the property a couple of weeks back, our deposit was returned quickly to us also. I would definitely recommend Gough Quarters for a friendly, professional and supportive property agent service.
Our personal experience with Gough Quarters was great! As we have moved from another country, they have been a great help from the very start - informative with every detail and aspect of rent, etc. They kept their responsiveness to a 100% without missing a single email - even house visits were well planned which we did not expect. Just let me say one thing - we are extremely gratefull for their services provided. But most importantly, we are the most grateful for them being humanly - when one of our family members was unwell, we had asked Gough Quarters if they could look after our pet for a period of time - which they did. This was totally unexpected, but just to say - they do go an extra mile to look after their tenants. Again - Gough Quarters are more than a Letting Agent. They have looked after us at every instance, therefore I do not have a single bad word I could say about them. Just to add- if moving to Bristol in the future, we will use you again. I was with Gough Quarters for one year and had a very pleasant experience with their company. My dealings were through Danielle and Aaron primarily and they were always extremely professional and courtious. They have always been quick to reply, patient and addressed any concerns that I had during my tenancy. If I return to bristol, I will be hoping to find accomadation through them again.
