   I live at walking distance from the Cheeky Pea. I saw their opening 12 years ago. But only today my hubby and I tried their food. We were completely blown away by the tasty food, FRESHNESS (OMG! Where do we find really fresh food these days?), and very affordable prices. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We will become familiar faces at The Cheeky Pea from now on!

   We’ve only been twice here because we normally eat their pitas and falafels at the Kew farmers market, but the food is just as great if not even better. The sauces are soo good. And the deserts are definitely worth trying too. Staff is also super friendly. Happy to come back!

   I really like this place and will continue to come back as the food is vegan friendly, nutritious and one of the few places in Kingston that isn’t a chain. I just wish the hummus tasted more flavourful. It is always pretty bland, it’s healthy and a perfect texture but the taste isn’t there. For the star product, I think it should taste like the star! I also wish it was open for longer!! It’s always closed when I am able to go. I would also like to add that the staff have been wonderful every time I have come here

   We had a tasty lunch at this fairly hidden middle eastern fast food restaurant. The hummus was tasty, the falafel was freshly made, crunchy and slightly spicy, the salads were fresh and interesting and I can confirm that the pitta bread is excellent which is very important. I recommend asking for the spicy green chilli dip, it's brilliant and not too hot. The prices are very fair and the service is fast and friendly. There are plenty of seats inside and a couple of tables outside. Highly recommended

   The most delicious and fresh Middle Eastern fast food anywhere! This is my go-to lunch stop when I am in town, and also when I want a healthy choice take-out meal. The crunchy, herby falafel are cooked to order, the homemade houmous is creamy, nutty and sold in tubs that will last you down to your last pitta chip. Try the seasoned pitta chips! Always a great regular selection of fresh salad with specials like baba ganoush. Hot, fluffy bakery-sourced pitta bread, vegan cakes (you wouldn't know), mint lemonade to drink and a Cheeky Pantry for all your exotic seasoning and condiment needs. The staff are the loveliest people, it is like visiting a friend's home for lunch.

   The Cheeky Pea is a haven for those with discerning palates. Our party ordered vegetable soup, falafel wraps and falafel pockets. The latter two were upsized to meals and came with generous portions of hot chips and delicious home made lemonade. The soup, served with freshly baked bread, was delicious and proved to be an excellent antidote for the icy, Kingston weather. The salads were fresh, crispy, mouth watering and the sauces were of the finest quality- tha mango sauce was particularly good. This is a family owned restaurant where the emphasis is on quality and service. A tour of Kingston, without a visit to the Cheeky Pea, would be a loss.

   Without a doubt the best falafel within the area. Falafel made fresh to order and served with an accompanying salad and a array of sauces, with a fluffy pitta bread. Only issue would be a lack mint and parsley within the falafel seasoning otherwise 4.5 stars.
