Stopped here en route to Exeter with the grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Not a massive park, rustic in style and a little unkept but one where the more you wander and look the more you discover. Grandchildren loved the zebras, peacocks and Ostrich. Would definitely return.

Lovely lady at front desk but otherwise left feeling sorry for the animals, as we walked around we could hear other families expressing the same concerns. I understand times are tough for businesses but please reconsider reinvesting into the park and the size of enclosures for your animalsβ¦ Particularly when farm at the back provides 5x the space for sheep compared to animals such as Manned wolves. Overall the park looks like itβs struggling with upkeep. Really do not enjoy leaving reviews like this but Iβm hoping it is considered and recognised. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful wildlife park, set out really nicely, it kept us all occupied for hours. The animals all looked very well and cared for, and the experiences in the education centre were lovely. Lots of seating areas and play areas, a fantastic value family day out and will come back soon!

A lovely little wildlife park with lots of different animals, and plenty to see and do there. There are a couple of play areas for kids, as well as a picnic area and somewhere to buy refreshments. It was very hot weather when we went and we did struggle to find shaded areas at times (some of the animals looked very hot too!) but we got by, having an ice cream to cool down! Ticket prices were very reasonable and it was fairly quiet when we went (a Tuesday in mid July) and we didnβt have to queue to enter at all. I believe we spent a bit under two hours at the park in the end. A lovely day out for the family!

We visited in September with our one year old on a cooler/wet day. Lots of animals to see and kids play areas. We had a pram (all terrain) with us and there wasn't anywhere we couldn't go. The cafe had highchairs and plenty of space for the pram. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to feed the guinea pigs and stroke a python. A great family day out. It rained towards the end of our visit - definitely a more fair weather location as it is quite outdoorsy as you would expect. We got to see lots of animals and it was a very quiet day due to the weather. Lots of hand washing facilities, picnic areas and good toilets. The ticket price seemed fair for all they had to offer and we would definitely go back.

A small wildlife park with a lovely friendly atmosphere. Originally we visited for just a day earlier in the year, we had such a lovely day we decided to buy an annual pass. Throughout the day there are many things going on to allow you to interact and get closer to some of the animals. There was a nice variety of animals and all the staff are very friendly, there's plenty of places to sit and eat your own picnic and a cafe serving hot and cold pastries and pizza, teas and coffees are also available here. Over the past year there have been some new arrivals and it's clear the park is expanding too. Our first visit we spent about four hours there. Since then it's more than often between two to three hours. We can't wait to next year to visit again

Great place for a day out with the family. Lots to see and do. They do love talks throughout the day. We got to hold a snake . Nice play area for the children. Benches around the park so you can take a picnic.

There are quite a few animals here! Some were not in their enclosures (perhaps it was too hot on the day). Impressed with the space that the animals have to roam Some of the birds are able to free roam around the park which adds to the experience

We absolutely loved our visit!! Went with really low expectations but wow! They delivered! They had animals we werenβt expecting and weβve been to a lot of zoos and I mean a lot!! And every single enclosure we saw the animal inside all but one which was the little jerboa now that is unheard of at a zoo! We went to Chester recently and probably saw about 60% of the animals in the enclosures. So you know how many wolf enclosures I have seen and not once seen a wolf!! Here they were running about playing it was amazing!! And the leopard cat kittens were just adorable!!! But all the animals at axe valley were out and running about happily playing some sleeping in the shade as it was a hot hot day but they all looked so content! The staff too every member I spoke to was incredibly nice and friendly! Had a good laugh with both the young lady on the entrance with the awesome PlayStation tattoo and the lovely lady in the cafe who was baking. Itβs truly worth a visit with great prices and lots of play equipment dotted round the whole park for the kids to play on rather than having them all crammed into one little space which we found amazing! The kids loved that they could carry bird feed around to feed the birds too!
