Travelopo took £2700 deposit for an Algarve villa, failed to book the villa for us and stole our money. The owner, Roger Fenton, is a fraudster - we have made a complaint to the police.
So after changing a booking from summer 2019 to a winter break 2022, and the change of restrictions in France and after over 12 emails with absolutely no reply this company are an absolute disgrace, they are nothing short ot thrives and I will be reporting them to trading standards. DO NOT USE!!!
If I could give minus stars I would. I would rather use the German express to Auschwitz in 1943 then use travel opo again. Not contactable via phone, and when the villa gets cancelled they demand more money for the 'alternative'. I cannot stress how bad this company really is. If you have money to burn, please send it to me rather than this cowboy outfit. Shocking.
Money grabbers! They wouldn't change dates after our flights were cancelled. Even though we were happy to postpone to help them out during Covid they changed their T's and C's and told us to go through insurance!? I had booked using a Credit card so just ended up getting a full refund via them. Will never use again!
If you have a balance that is due shortly, do not pay it as when your dates end up being affected, they do not want to know. All they do is direct you to your travel insurance, then will just ignore any further emails from you. THIEVES!
Had a fantastic experience with Travelopo. Stopped in a lovely villa in Tuscany. The whole process was very straightforward, with Travelopo doing almost all the leg-work for me. No complaints and will definitely be using them again in the future.
