   Be careful before booking with Arctic Direct. They refused to refund the deposit of £ 3500 I initially put down even though the trip was still 12 weeks away when I had to cancel. Update in response to the Vendor's Comments below: The vendor's response below is highly misleading. They shared a general blurb at the time of booking that includes a link to their terms and conditions, just like you would expect from any travel agency. They did NOT specifically call out that all of their deposits are non-refundable and are blatantly misstating facts. No customer would expect to lose the entire amount, especially not if they cancel 12 weeks prior to the trip. They are also stating below that threats of negative publicity were made alongside the request to refund the deposit. This is not the case. After they made it clear that they won't refund the deposit, I simply let them know that I'll write up a review based on my experience and that I'll share it with my network. In their reply below, they've shown themselves to be people of low integrity and I advise great caution when engaging them.

   I cannot recommend Arctic Direct enough, we originally booked our trip in 2020 but covid hit, Arctic Direct jumped on it straight away, rearranged everything for us for the following year but then had to rearrange everything again due to flight changes. Hannah at Arctic Direct was fantastic at arranging the whole trip from flights, accommodation to activities and keeping us up to date. As the time got nearer Ellie answered every query immediately to put our minds at rest. As for the trip itself-WOW Kakslautten Resort is not to be missed. The husky safari fabulous, the snow mobiles exhilarating but by far the best for us the Reindeer Safari as the northern lights made an appearance right above our heads. Absolutely brilliant company and we shall definitely be looking at what other trips are available in the future- thank you to everyone involved in making our bucket list dreams come true.

   We have just returned from a truly amazing 3 night trip to Sweden. Arctic Direct booked our entire trip and it was flawless. 2 nights in an aurora hut in Kiruna and 1 night in the ice hotel. We did a snow mobile tour, a musher tour and a night snow shoe tour as well as a hot tub at the aurora camp where we stayed. The quality of the service we received the whole way was outstanding and a true credit to Artic direct who booked it all. Their communication throughout the booking and right up to the trip was great. We would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to book again. Thanks so much to them for our trip of a lifetime. Couldn’t have asked for better.

   Hi We are back from an amazing trip to Lapland. We stayed at the northern lights village near Levi. What an amazing experience. The accommodation was excellent, a cabin with a glass roof. The resort Resturant was fantastic and the food was great. The staff were always on hand to help. The tours we booked through you were brilliant. Huskies, snowmobiling and Reindeer rides. To cap it all off we saw the Northern lights while out on the snowmobiles. Stunning. Thank you for arranging all this for us. David, Janice, Marc, Hazel Reid

   My sister and I wanted to visit Kakslauttanen Artic Resort. I booked the holiday with Lou at Artic Direct and cannot recommend Lou enough for her expertise and help. The resort is wonderful. The staff at the resort had the itinerary and times for our excursions, and were very organized. We took a husky safari excursion, which I cannot recommend enough. Personally, this was the highlight of my trip. We went reindeer sledging to search for the Northern Lights, and we were lucky enough to see them! We went snowmobiling for two hours. We were nice and warm on our excursions, as the resort provide snowsuits, mittens and boots. Initially we stayed in a log cabin which was lovely, comfortable and warm. We lit the log fire, thanks to the resort staff who offer a firewood service. Our cabin had a sauna which was great. Moving onto our glass igloo, was perfect. It was minus 15 degrees outside and warm, cosy and toasty inside. You cannot put a price on such a magical and wonderful trip!

   Due to the costs of getting there alone, if you're travelling to Greenland, you want to get it right.. Charlotte and Jessie at Travelbee/Arctic Direct didn't just help to get it right, they got it PERFECT. Putting every effort in to co-ordinate and arrange a packed 2 week independent schedule, as well as using their personal experience to ensure that any changes (which are inevitable) did not impact the experience, and in fact went the extra mile to make it better. One of the most amazing holidays I've had, and a great deal is down to them, helped by some unusually good Greenlandic weather ;-)

   I wish I had known of Arctic Direct several years ago, as I would have saved money ! I have recently returned from a five day trip to The Swedish Ice Hotel. This was an experience for my grandson. Arctic Direct were first class with their pre departure information, and updates as things changed. They were most accommodating at the planning stage when I needed slight adjustments made to the activities which were included in the package. The staff were extremely helpful and understanding. We travelled at the end of the season when there were many fewer guests, so we enjoyed exclusive trips each time we went on an activity. My grandson even got invited to stand and drive the huskies with our guide who was a competition racer. We were also able to add to our programme on arrival as there was plenty of availability. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Arctic Direct based on my experience of travelling with them. Five stars !
