Awful ! Went for eye drops as prescribed by eye clinic as my husband had just had surgery, we can’t read it they said what does it say(I’m not the doctor or pharmacist) how would I know. I explained that they were ani inflammatory drops ! Wouldn’t even try to look to busy chatting to people. Went to boots chemist , the pharmacist there got them for me straight away , what a difference in service unbelievable

This is a very busy but absolutely excellent pharmacy - I wouldn't use any other. Scripts filled in a timely manner and anything urgent like antibiotics they do them quickly. Very professional and friendly team. Be polite to them - they work very hard and very diligently.

Use them for my regular prescription. They always let me know when to pick it up. Very friendly staff always happy to help even when they are busy

Just like so many other reviews the pharmacist herself is great, but the other staff and unhelpful and slow. I've been told previously that the need 7 days for a repeat prescription, no signs up stating that! Went yesterday and after answering a dozen questions was told it would be a 30 minute wait! 3 of them there, just 1 item on my prescription and no-one in the queue in front of me. Will not use again.

I'm not sure if this pharmacy is overwhelmed with orders or is really understaffed but it's bad. Regularly (almost constantly) without stock. It's a common occurrence you have to go back three/four times for one prescription (bare in mind many people going have mobility issues and illnesses that weaken people). We have also encountered getting incorrect medicines or amounts in the prescription. We have been told excuses such as: that it was the GP not sending through the prescription (contradicting what the GP says); we hadn't given them enough time to get the prescription together (which they recommend 10-14 days), the orders are on back order, and so on. It's a real shame because I believe they're trying their best and they aren't especially rude but there is something wrong with their system of operation as none of the other pharmacy's around the area seem to suffer from these same errors. Often we are left with this as the only option, however, due to the other pharmacies closing before I return from work and my partner not having the strength to leave the house for long. The real concern that is also mentioned in other reviews is that some of these regular prescriptions are required for people's health and wellbeing: without the regular medicines people suffer from serious withdrawals and many other side effects of being days without medicines such as anxiety/depression or pain medication to name a few. Please guys push for more staff, more regular orders and a systems of operation update/overhaul.

Never open when they should be every time I go into collect they are closed and end up without tablets even though I try and plan ahead sometimes you can't plan. I work full time and can't get to a pharmacy in working hours hence why I had been using this pharmacy but its about the 3rd time in a couple of months I've ended up with no medication they get grumpy if you turn up without a text and then if you wait you end up running out completely because they arent open and end up in withdrawal from your medication

Changed to Tesco Pharmacy Yate when Boots West Walk Surgery Closed. Never filled on-time, advised last time they "need two weeks to be safe": better give them notice of me being ill then or force the doctor to issue controlled timed medicine early. Do not advise when ready, so you either have to go in and then go back another time when they have stock or can "fit you in". Have just tried 18 times over 2 days to call them to check whether my prescription is ready since I have meds that have to be taken tomorrow and need to arrange transport to collect (they were rude to a friend who collected prior), the phone either rings out or is picked up and put straight down. Appreciating they have the overspill of people from one Boots branch closing, this is appalling service : it is not the patients fault, and I think they forget we are patients and not shoppers: we need medicine because we are ill and need treatment when we need it - not to notice or to "wait for stock".

I visited to get my prescription 3 times in the last 10 days, twice they were closed when they should've been open according to the info and the third time they were out of stock. Didn't get a text message saying there was a problem. Overall poor service.

The best pharmacy by far in the Yate /Chipping Sodbury area. Unfailingly helpful, efficient and friendly.
