Having unsuccessfully attempted to arrange transport to RUH for my wife's fracture clinic appointment (unable to speak to a human /call back never received) spoke with Bella at Practice. She was more than helpful and through all her efforts she arranged transport for my wiife. for the appointment. Thank you Bella Dave James
Wonderful service from Caroline and her amazing reception team. They always do their very best to help and support. We recently received very quick turnaround on a call back and appointment which took so much worry out of a difficult set of symptoms. Cannot recommend enough.
Recently waited nearly 6 weeks for an in-person appointment. Was assured on the phone it was at Bathampton but it was actually at Pulteney St. Thankfully I checked which took 1/2 hour as I was 23rd in the telephone queue. Some seem to know very little about HRT and gynaecology and seemed panicked when I asked. I encountered resistence to referring for investigation of a female health problem from one (female!) GP despite my being unable to work as a result! It's a bit of a roulette. The pharmacy team are really good but extraordinarily busy.
How they manage to keep the doors open and operate a basic service under this thieving tory government is an absolute miracle Wonderful caring emphatic staff working in impossible conditions I salute you xx
Called the Pharmacy about travel jabs and within the hour I was given all 6 that I needed. Really nice team will be recommending to my mates before they go travelling.
This practice isn’t what it used to be. They received my prescription a month ago and it still hasn’t been signed off by a GP. AGAIN! Without this prescription I am unable to eat without severe stomach pain. The receptionist ought to have made this very clear to the GP she contacted. I naturally expected to receive an urgent prescription but instead was told to return the following afternoon. I have been living on a diet of water.
Unlike me to make a public complaint. However I regard this Surgery as now literally not fit for practise - in my case due to on-going issues accessing help for severe knee pain. And now, even having resorted to a privately financed MRI, I am unable to find out the results, which I need urgently to pay for my own care (!), as this Surgery - though in receipt of them - has still not released them to me.
Truly woeful. Dangerously inadequate service and ‘computer says no’ reception staff. I’ve had to pay several times for private GP and healthcare services because of the lack of availability and poor management of this practice. If you actually get to see a GP they are good but it’s almost impossible unless you wait weeks and weeks. Embarrassing that this is our front line health service
