I booked a flu vaccination with a flu voucher and took time off work for the appointment but when I got to the pharmacy I was told that the nurse was only doing NHS flu vaccinations and could not give me one. Others in the pharmacy were being sent away due to their medication not being available. All in all, very poor service.
So poor, will not answer the phones, failed deliveries time and time again. Wrong and missing medication. Can't get through to correct. They just do not care.
Absolutely awful service - don't bother. My Mum is older and vulnerable, theyre meant to deliver her meds but keep forgetting and text her to say she needs to collect them repeatedly. The phone never works to contact them to notify them it needs delivery, just cancels immediately out as they keep it off the hook. When you complain, its sorted initially, then the same thing happens again. The manager then blames the fact she has to move around as the reason why they are a shambles. Avoid.
I was impressed by how kind and helpful all the staff were when I had a problem obtaining the tablets my GP had prescribed. They took time to help me sort it out even when under pressure during very busy periods. I also had a very positive impression of this chemist some years back when helping a neighbour sort her medication on the phone. My neighbours always speak well of it too.
Have had multiple strange interactions with the power-tripping pharmacists here. Twice i have been recommended non-prescription, over the counter ointments by my gp and twice i have been turned away after they refused to sell it because they ‘didnt think it looked that bad’ (an eye infection one time, a rash all over my face on the other). On one of these visits the male pharmacist told me it might be a stress rash (it wasnt), and said i should ‘smile more’. On the other, the female pharmacist refused to give me meds for confirmed conjunctivitis by a gp. Went down the road to lloyds pharmacy and they gave me the meds i needed no questions asked.
Lovely staff who go above and beyond to help you! Wouldn’t go to any other pharmacy.

Not the best experience with this Pharmacy! My GP sent my prescription to them. Closed on Saturdays so had to go and collect after work on Monday. Was told that they hadn’t yet ordered the item in so I needed to go back on Thursday ( now 8 days since GP had sent prescription to them) Went back on Thursday and told it was out of stock for probably at least a month. I needed item to take with me to GP appointment the following week. I understand that they can’t help it if stock levels are nil but feel they could have communicated that to me as soon as they knew. Really thought I would need to cancel my appointment after already waiting 3 weeks for appointment. When I explained this And the fact it would have been good to have had this communicated to me, I just received a shrug of the shoulders! Fortunately I asked for my prescription to be handed to me and went to Lloyds just down the road. Luckily they had item in stock and the staff couldn’t have been anymore helpful and friendly. I will definitely be asking my GP to NEVER send future prescriptions to WELL PHARMACY
Set up monthly reorder and delivery service with them, luckily just prior to lockdown 1 for my mum in law. They had a very efficient service and delivery was always on time, in fact generally early. Also rang me when they had a query to sort promptly. Very impressed and would recommend. Disappointed that she moved out of the area and unfortunately had to change pharmacy.
Although when open the staff are fantastic...but what kind of pharmacy is closed on a bloody saturday?! (i can't get my meds until monday now!) pathetic of the actual owners... *UPDATE* After my complaint of this pharmacy not being open over the weekend (Simons response - whomever he is? is that it's due to the NHS timelines?? Well (some irony there Simon) Lloyds pharmacy is open on saturday so that was an outright lie! Now, to top this off, after a lengthy walk (i'm not particularly 'WELL') in order to finally get my prescription...i find the store closed. WELL WELL WELL there is an hour lunch break! quite why you cant stagger your staffs lunch time is absolutely ridiculous! After walking back, i am now going to have to walk back (and i'm ill!) i am now going to use Lloyds from here on out (and i shall be giving you nothing but bad press...again, pathetic)
