OUT OF DATE. New Team in Place and service is now good.Currently in a mess as Boots withdraws from location with another pharamcy taking it's place. My repeat from 3 weeks ago was not completed. Meanwhile the poor staff have been left in the lurch unable to order new stock and deal with unhappy patients. New Pharmacy is due to open 12 August 2024. 28/08/24. New Pharmacy Open and service back to normal. Still some problems with Repeat prescriptions that have gone to Boots, but otherwise service back to good.

Website says for today (04/05/24) it closes at 22:30. I get there at 22:10 and surprise surprise it's closed. Lights are on, I knocked on the window and no one came. I'm so sick of Google saying their opening hours, but you get there before it's due to close and it's already closed. The hours on here appeared up to date as it states Monday is a bank holiday. No one picks up the phone either. Very unreliable with their opening times and often very long queue which moves very slowly. I've never had any problem with how friendly and polite they are though. Need to allow about half an hour during peak times to collect a script.

My experience on Sunday 25th February: I was 2nd in queue behind a lovely gentleman trying to get medication for his wife who'd recently had a heart attack. The person behind the counter was passive aggressive in the extreme initially and then just plainly rude. I was still 2nd in queue 25 minutes later until Pharmacist served me. Wish could give 0

Opening times on here are inaccurate which doesn't help working people who live outside malmesbury. If you're going to change them update it online not a piece of paper stuck to the door very unprofessional.

Avoid at all costs. They shut early all the time, hours early not just five minutes. They often don’t have prescriptions in stock, which is wonderful to hear after you have been queueing for 45 minutes. Go to any pharmacy but this one. It is a complete waste of time. Every other pharmacy you can walk into and walk back out within ten minutes with your prescription. I really don’t know why anyone goes to this one anymore. They are a complete shambles.

The system that pulls through the prescription from the Doctor's next door (MPC) is very, very slow and can take 6 hours or more, even up to a day to transfer across. If the MPC doctor gives you a prescription to be filled, ask for a paper copy...you can hand this in to the pharmacy next door immediately to be fulfilled. Otherwise you will you will be waiting a very long time and will most probably need to make a trip back the next day to get it. Not very efficient at all!

I wanted to post this for Boot Pharmacy by the doctor's surgery in Malmesbury. Yes there are long queues which can sometimes be frustrating, but they've had a hard old slog these last few years. These five stars are specifically for Darren who works there. No matter what he's friendly, super efficient and always clears a queue quickly as soon as he arrives in my experience! He's an absolute legend and an asset to Boots Pharmacy! Too be honest I think the pharmacy would be screwed without him :)
