Absolutely shocking. I was running late to collect an urgent prescription and rang ahead to say. They said they close at 7 pm to which I said I would get there just before. I turned up at the door at 6:59 pm to see they had already closed the shutters and said it was too late… Brilliant customer service

The service is often incredibly slow in the Lloyds Pharmacy at Courtside Surgery. I sometimes find there are issues with prescriptions. The pharmacy itself is quite small and I know they do get a lot of prescriptions to deal with but you do have to wait longer than most pharmacy’s to get your prescription or to speak to a pharmacist. That’s in my opinion anyway. If I needed to speak to a pharmacist I often go elsewhere. Sometimes they have some good deals in the store and they have a stand of items for Β£1. I sometimes find that there are items I cannot buy in the pharmacy that I can buy elsewhere.

Dreadful. You always have to wait for ages whilst they search for your prescription, then when (if) they find it they never have it made up ready, regardless of how long they have had it. Here's a novel idea, why don't you file the prescriptions alphabetically? Today I had to go back to the surgery because the computer had "rejected" my prescription. So far this week I've spent over an hour getting my medication and I still have to go back tomorrow because they didn't have them all!

I'd love to say that this is the first time that I have a had a negative experience here. Sadly it is not. But to stick to the present case. My wife ordered a prescription fro collection. She did it with plenty of rime for it to be ready. In fact she left it for six days before I went to collect it. I arrived before the pharmacy opened and was third in the queue. The first customer like me came to pick up a prescription that had been pre ordered. It took them ten minutes to not find it and then realize it had not been made up. The second customer was told after another ten minute wait that they did not have any of the items in her prescription. My turn came and at this point I had been waiting for twenty minutes with no acknowledgement from the assistant. I asked for my prescription and was told it hadn't been made up. when I suggested that It had been there nearly a week she just shrugged her shoulders. Ten minutes later the pharmacist came over and told me that they did not have all of the items in stock. So I left after 30 minutes looking forward to another visit. Another four days passes and i return for the remainder of the prescription and spend 20 minutes waiting in another queue. All I can hear from other customers waiting are various complaints from them. When it is my turned to be served I give my details and am told after a futile 5 minute search that my prescription has not been made up. I grimace and then I am told by the assistant that it will be ready in 30 minutes. At this point I complain about the service and am informed by an assistant to complain to head office as it was nothing to do with her. Outstanding! Whilst I am waiting for her to return with my prescription I overhear one of the Pharmacists say to a customer that it is always like this here and if it was her she would go somewhere else. So to collect one complete prescription including the 30 minutes waiting time and a second enforced journey took me a little over 95 minutes. WOW! Not worth the one star I had to give it

They withhold medication claiming they haven't had time to make it up. I have went over 8 days without my prescription. Massive queue always our the door. The staff are rude and don't even acknowledge your there and wait over 20 mins to even get served then get the rubbish that it's going to be a 20 minute wait which always turns into 40 mins so your always there an hour but if you can't wait this long then they say they will get it made up for you which they then don't bother to do. It's horrific I dont drive so need my prescription after my appointment and can't stand for an hour. It's so bad here everyone on the queues are always fed up of the wait... this needs to be fixed. It wasn't too bad before they closed the other Lloyds in hate but when they did they absorbed a lot of there prescriptions and then thought it would be a good idea to close earlier... doesn't make sense. I would always get a taxi to pick up my prescription at 9-10 so there wasn't a que but now there's no option to do that as they close at 7pm ... so frustrating just needs to be sorted better as it's just not working like this.
